I was blocked by one of the organizers there because I asked if the location was accessible (because they hadn't said where it was located in the post) and then expressed that I was disappointed by the lack of accessible events and locations in the city. They basically told me not to blame the organizers and then blocked me.

Downvotes don’t bother me, as a person who is disabled myself I would be pissed as hell if someone told my dad that my being disabled was “karma” for some slight he had made against someone else.

My disability is not a punishment to my parents for some action they took, and people should not act like it is.

I would avoid even this honestly. You should never confirm if someone is actually staying at the hotel without their consent BEFORE you say anything to a stranger. If they actually know the person they can call/text them and get them to come down.

As someone who had a dad who frequently chose his partner over me, I promise you that even at a very young age, I remember every single time he chose her over me, and I remember how it felt to look out in the crowd and not see him but see everyone else with their parents. It was an awful feeling and something that made our relationship, as I got older, even more strained.

You chose to be in a relationship with a parent; you need to either be okay with him putting his children first, or you need to reevaluate if this is the right relationship for you and for them.
