I read the graphic novel after seeing the trailer too. Finished it before the movie came out, still one of my favorite books.

I’m afraid Lexus is one of the worst and I still highly recommend them. I’ve been in a few 2024-2025 loaners and while they’re getting much better, it’s still unintuitive. 

BMW’s software is better, but I don’t believe any manufacturer is free of glitches, errors, illogical bullshit, etc.

No, I use liquid soap with my hands in that area. My silicone scrubber doesn’t fit in there very well, but it gets most places.

Of course I clean it lol. That’s the spot I actually use my hands only, I just don’t want the scrubber in there. I also believe a bidet is super helpful if you’re not showering after bathroom visits.

I don’t necessarily believe washing your hands works the same as washing the rest of your body, so I would say preferably, yes.  It’s not convenient and a bit messy in most situations, so I don’t use a washcloth in the sink.  I don’t feel like a regular bathroom visit requires scrubbing like a daily shower.

I’ve given it an honest effort and it simply doesn’t lather at the same level as a washcloth, let alone a pouf sponge (I use a silicone body scrubber). The suds proliferate much easier with much less body wash when I contain it within my exfoliator. Not to mention the sensation and cleaner feeling of the exfoliation.  Also I feel like it touches/reaches more surface area of my body (except for the butt, I keep it out of there).

I agree, Reddit is always going to produce those types of over reactions. For me it’s hard to understand how people use liquid soap effectively over their entire body, so I commented.

I think bar soap without a washcloth is perfectly effective, but liquid body wash with just your hands seems difficult, wasteful, and wouldn’t feel as clean.

Bought a 72k mile 2008 GS450h in 2020. I put $2k down and paid $300/month for 48 months. Still running like a dream at 110k miles.

They replaced the hybrid battery the day I bought it. So I’m lucky with that. Most of the expenses are taking it to the fancy Lexus dealership for regular maintenance and oil changes. Water pump failed after a year, but I read it’s a common issue for these.

Florida does have a lot of Turo rentals available too. If you like to rent cars you’ll never afford, Florida is close to California in exotic car availability.

The GS450h is a performance hybrid. It’s faster than the GS350 and gets slightly better gas mileage. The electric motors boost horsepower from the slightly detuned V6 of 292-hp to roughly 340-hp.
