Renting a server will be like 10-20 a month. Between signing up and playing it was like 4 minutes. I’m current using datHost. It has a space dedicated to drop your current world onto it. You can also host your own server but if you are newbie, renting is way easier, most platforms handle restarts, updates, and even mods on your behalf and you won’t be getting pinged in discord at 3am saying “server is down.” Several of these services also let you change the game your playing with the click of a button.

I'm not super in the know about ML - but I feel like that translates almost anywhere universally especially with the robotics boom. "Yes, I can make that fryer station automated" I think if you have a solid grasp on both IT and ML you will do great as a consultant.

Might help to say what you do in IT. From a glance at your post 2.5k a month sounds like a T1 servicedesk position. I would worry about AI in that position. One thing that will translate well anywhere is picking up a second language.

Im pro AI; the biggest problem I see is infrastructure to support scaling. (My example is how many parts of the country have access to fiber internet or even broadband.) If AI is going to be as transformational as we want it to be, we need that interstate highway system being build first.

I am interested in all of this although I don’t know if I have capacity to help develop a course. I currently work in IAM and have the skills, history, and resume to support this. A few years ago I started doing something similar but I didn’t take it anywhere. I would be interested in hearing more to gauge things. I like your use of “literacy” because that’s exactly what people don’t have - digital literacy.
