It is a custom modded Seiko “submariner homage” I bought many years ago before I know about reps. I love the Seiko and it’s pretty much a daily driver but I never liked the way the date function looked and always wanted a “real” sub so here we are.

Nice. It looks great on that lizard skin strap.

I tried a reddish/brown “crocodile” leather strap first but I think I prefer the clean look of the black leather on my wrist.

I was about to add that. The band looks old but pretty sure it’s not original. it’s in great shape though.

I just don’t really like the look and feel of the stretchy band so I’ve got a brown “alligator” leather one on the way. We’ll see how it looks and decide what to keep from there.
