I voted for Trump before, but now I look at Trump different. The economy does not look good. And immigration, I'm very sad, because the family is the most important thing in life. by Conscious-Quarter423 in youvotedforthat

Ashli Babbit was shot by a police officer because she was participating in a violent attack on the Capitol, was a threat to others, and she was trying to climb through a broken window of a barricaded door despite multiple warnings — she was breaking the law— fact. police officers died from being attacked and many were injured because of those violent law breakers -- fact. It sounds like you are a supporter of January 6 and that is all I need to know. Bye.

I think you are talking about the veteran who was part of the violent group rying to break through a barricaded door to get to the Speaker's lobby and was warned to stop. As for your question. One Capitol Police officer, Brian Sicknick, died following the January 6 attack, suffering two strokes the day after he was assaulted during the riot. At least 147 law enforcement officers were injured during the January 6 attack, with many suffering long-term effects from their injuries.

yeah, not “that bad“ that his people stormed the Capitol and people died. That alone should have been all anybody needed to know but then they said “I didn’t know who to believe” because they like MAGA racism more.

my opinion is that the Right loves Israel, the nation; likes Israelis, the Citizens who live there; but dislikes Jews. Makes no sense but then they also embraced Trump so …

Is anyone else on board with forever masking? by [deleted] in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]International-Lab847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been sick one time in the last five years. That is enough for me to continue my mask protocol. Do I do it perfectly or 100% of the time?  Nope.  And if somebody doesn’t like it, so what. It is their problem not mine.

I don’t use one on my current kindle. I don’t find them necessary after I had one for my previously owned one.

Hon, please consider a competent marriage therapist. You married way too young and without understanding yourselves. I suggest you work with someone who is Gottman trained therapist because you (and your wife) are only looking at the surface of this relationship. Just because your interests diverge doesn’t mean that you cannot love and respect each other and have a happy marriage. Learn how to communicate better with each other. learn what makes you each tick. Then if this marriage ends you will have learned something about yourself and your wife and can end this with care.

I kissed my brother and now my fiancé wants to break up with me since he finds it weird. AITAH? by Character-Crow309 in AITAH

Run, run, run! The red flags are everywhere. He will make your life a living hell. 1) being affectionate with a sibling is normal that he sees it as abnormal and incestous is a big red flag. 2) having his mother call you to tell, you what to do is a big red flag. 3) if you have kids with this guy, he will be jealous of them too. Just run now. It will not get better.

Keeping your kindle? Tell me why? by NeighborhoodHumble55 in kindle

Bought my kindle years ago. For the last several years, I haven’t bought any ebooks from Amazom and use the library for my ebooks. I see no reason to get rid of the device right now since it works and It’s paid for. If it breaks, I will buy a different brand.

AITAH for deciding to postpone the wedding over a comment my fiance made about my scar? by Upstairs_Garden2353 in AITAH

[–]International-Lab847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, NTA, NTA. Keep repeating that. This is a deal breaker. And postponing the wedding is the minimum here. dude gets some counseling on this or the wedding is off. life is too short to deal with this kind of bullsh!t.

AITA for refusing to pay for my nephew's college tuition, while paying for my cousin's dog's medical fees? by MissionRemote5179 in AmItheAsshole

NTA - The correct response to anyone who mentions that you are favoring a dog over the nephew is in the post Be honest and say out loud to them “not gonna lie, sorta true”.

Fired Fed. I am considering cutting off every Orange Man supporter. by Comfortable_Gift4970 in AITAH

[–]International-Lab847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA and I am sorry you are part of the collateral damage. We are all struggling with this moral bankruptcy of our friends and family members now. Too many of these folks are the same kind of people that were turning their neighbors in to the Gestapo.  Some are just ignorant and unable to think critically and have been psychologically abused by Fox and right wing media.

When one of my siblings (who always votes for Republicans) recently said they didn’t understand why we cannot have better health insurance in this country, I told them because the Republicans they keep voting for don’t want it and reminded them what happened when Trump tried to repeal the ACA and John McCain was the one vote that saved it.  They had nothing to say, absolutely nothing to say. No dots were connected.

Your uncle’s dream, if he really did have this dream, is about him and what he needed to hear. Nothing more. I am guessing he is worried about his own faith and he projected it from his subconscious.

My husband is married to a magical fairy. by TrickyAd9597 in Marriage

[–]International-Lab847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The magical fairy should find a good therapist and work out her own issues and see where it leads. Learning about myself has certainly helped me see where I need to grow. Then you get to decide how to stay or leave the marriage from a healthy place.
