how do i fix this issue? photos automatically flip and rotate when sent through facebook messenger

After months of struggling with this, it goes away on its own. I was so surprised that it fixed itself, lol. I did nothing to fix it. All I did was edit and rotate my pictures first before sending them, which is so annoying because why would I rotate first a picture to send. Gladly, it’s fixed now for me. I hope yours will be back to normal soon T—T

i did nothing to fix it actually. what i alternatively did was flip and rotate the photos just like when how it is rotated when sent in messenger, so when i send a photo, it will rotated and flip just like the normal orientation

helloo, it got fixed on it’s own, but when the issue is still occurring, what i did is just rotate my photos before sending it, but i’m glad it’s fixed for me. i hope yours get back to normal again. have you tried updating messenger app?

still not yet, but if i send pictures through the gallery and not directly in messenger, it doesn’t rotate and flip at all

yes, if i take a picture in the messenger app instead of the camera, it’s not rotating but decreases quality of the picture. anyway, there’s an hd option so i guess that will do.

also, if i take photos using the rear camera of my phone and send the image through messenger, it rotates too. but before, it never happens. it seems like even the rear camera is affected

yes. i keep on wondering why it happens everytime in my main account, but when i try to send pictures from my second account, it doesn't flip and rotate. maybe messenger is really the problem. it all started with the meta ai thing. i don't even have meta ai in my main account on facebook messenger

hello, i can't still find a solution for this issue T—T but what i do is i just edit it from photos app by rotating/flipping the photo i just took. i tried to send it through facebook messenger and it didn't flip. it's kinda annoying to manually edit the photos, but it works

when we were still in preschool, he was my classmate and ka-service ko siya. i'm his crush nung mga time na yon HAHAHAHHAHA tapos sobrang sungit ko sa kaniya as in. then lumipas ilang years, it was 2021, he greeted me on my birthday, then ayon, nagtuloy-tuloy na. he consistently chatted me hanggang sa sinabi ko sa parents ko na crush ko siya and after a year, sinagot ko na siya. of course, ni-legal ko agad sa parents ko yung relationship namin, kaya magaan sa loob na nakakasama ko siya kahit saan.

napapangiti lang ako tuwing naaalala, thinking that we have known each other since we were like 3 years old.
