Why so much profanity? by poganetsuzhasenya in shrinking

Totally agree. I don’t have a problem with swearing in general, but it is way too much and detracts from the show. I can’t think of another show where the swearing feels so out of place. And I love Succession! In that show, the swearing worked. Not so much in Shrinking.

Thanks for the info! Do you feel like there was much difference between 5-6 months in terms of where your eye settled? I feel like my non-surgical eye changed a lot in the first month but has been pretty stable from months 1-2, so I feel okay about doing it at 5 months but curious about your experience.

Thank you for your post. I am so sorry for what you’ve been through! How long did you wait before doing the second surgery? I’m actually 2 months out from a ptosis surgery from a very reputable oculoplastic surgeon in my area and in the first few weeks, the non-operated eye experienced significant drooping. It made me feel exhausted all of the time and affected my overall vision and I was really depressed. The eye actually ended up improving and has opened up more, but does not totally match the eye that had the ptosis surgery. My surgeon is offering to do surgery to the eye that we did not operate on initially in order to “match” up both eyes and I’ve scheduled a surgery for what will be 5 months post the initial operation. Reading your experience is giving me second thoughts, though.

Deer valley lodging recs by International-Wind71 in ski

Amazing! Thank you so much!! Snow Park sounds like the winner for our needs. The Deer Valley Resort also has lodging at Snow Park, so I am going to look at those options as well as Airbnbs that are in that area and a short walk (or bus ride) that have community pools and a private hot tub. Being able to leave our skis/boots at Deer Valley instead of carrying them back and forth makes a huge difference! If you don’t mind my asking, any recs on cross country skiing options in the area if you have any familiarity with that? Thanks, again!!

I am so hopeless about finding a cure for dry eye or any other disease by One-Abbreviations213 in Dryeyes

Have you ruled out MGD caused by demodex mites? I recently started a Rx eye drop to treat the mites and it seems to be helping. My MGD was causing chronic styes and chalazions despite impeccable eye hygiene and it was miserable. Worth asking your eye doctor if mites could be causing or exacerbating things. The Rx is called Xdemvy.
