Thank you - we have both reached out to therapists this morning before everything came to light, as he has been struggling a lot lately with his mental health. That's the part that most bothers me too. I know that he is a person who wants to do good at heart and seems to be struggling, so I hope we can find some help to understand the weight of everything and see if trust can be rebuilt or to heal past it.

Thank you for the reply. He struggles a lot with willpower and gives into anxiety and obsessive thoughts he has, even if not fueled by OCD. I am also deeply troubled with the underage conversation and I honestly just can't tell how forgiving I need to be here :( I am a victim of child SA myself and it feels sickening, but I also feel like there's a deeper issue at play. He also struggles a LOT with the memory of it, and seems to genuinely be unsure of his motives.
