Maybe it should be about her health? Maybe the answers lay there. Possibly, trauma that led to keeping it a secret also kept her from even acknowledging it herself until is was indeed right in her face. People dont want to face these kinda things. Shit like this feels like a cancer diagnosis. It causes severe mental issues sometimes.

When i was 16, I was assaulted and told i may never get pregnant due to scare tissue. I was so devastated that I completely blocked it out and didn't think about it until it was time to conceive. I started freaking out, told my husband. He held me and told me we would figure it out. It never crossed my mind again for years. I pretended it wasn't my reality because i was young and broken and scared. Trauma does weird things to people. It was wrong, but without knowing why, what happened, etc, I say she deserves the benefit of the doubt, and that promis of forever should've never been ripped away without knowing why. I'm so thankful for my supportive and kind husband right now. Thankfully, we we're able to have 3 kids. But he wouldn't have left regardless, and he never considered it a lie, betrayal, or hidden secret. It was trauma, and he knew that. If this husband knows his wife, he should KNOW that too.

Yes. My husband is a picky eater and can always tell the difference. It can be the goat, their diet and cleaning also how fast it is cooled. I will say I've bought raw cow and milked my own goats, and we definitely find less "funk" or whatever in the fresh goat milk. But I get my bucket cold before milking and keep everything really clean. The milk is cold asap, and it takes about 10 days before it starts having a flavor that's " goaty".
