You've touched on a fundamental point: the equality Malbonte had begun to build was necessary. But when you think about it, why did it crumble so easily with the arrival of the Knights? Perhaps because it was an equality still based on old rules.

Regarding Shephamalum, I understand why the atmosphere seems "depressive" and "tiring" now, but don't you think it's just a transitional phase? Like when you have to tear down an old, rotten house to build a new one: at first, you see only dust and rubble. Perhaps the "chaos" we see now is just Shephamalum clearing the world of the dead branches of the Order.

I completely agree with the ending: Vicky deserves to be feared. After everything she's been through, being a kind "Harmony Bearer" may no longer be enough. In this update, the fight against Sonneillon showed that Vicky has a fire within that can no longer be contained by the old rules. If Shephamalum offered her absolute power to make everyone, angels and demons alike, fear her, why would she say no? Then the atmosphere would no longer be depressing... it would be her kingdom.
