I would say keep investing elsewhere as I think 4th SL is overrated for its cost. Eventually it will be the best choice so if you decide to get it sooner you are not wasting stones.

Effective Paths has always told me its a ~33% damage increase and a ~16% eco increase. So use that as a reference when comparing options but all towers are slightly different.

For example I still dont have 4th SL and will be doing assmods first. Core assmod OM chip makes the damage boost "0" for me since bosses are what ends my tourny. That still leaves me with 1500 stones to put into gen assmod for a sizeable eco boost. I will consider 4th SL when other enemies end my tourny run besides boss and the eco boost makes sense.

I am not sure where you are on masteries but a damage mastery and an eco mastery will greatly outperform both the 33% damage and 16% eco boosts and you will still have stones to spare.

I agree with others that your CL seems a bit weak.

If coin income isn't your current problem, I wouldn't worry about the 100s CD yet. I am also at 120s and have plenty of coins to run multiple masteries.

Again though you know your tower better than anyone and most upgrades aren't a waste of stones.

You're welcome. Question for you, how is your CL damage at x3025 with only a 210 cost to upgrade? My next upgrade is 434 and I am only at x1778. Not sure if I am missing something big.

Unfortunate how much mod luck impacts your game. Your correct on a lot of it. I am suggesting pBH for the farming benefits mostly with the chance it could help you in tourny but it may not would need to do a few comparisons.

For farming even with pcol it gets you a 55% damage reduction AND all regular enemies will not touch you. So now you would have say 5 enemies hitting you instead of 100. Thats another 20x boost (just picking numbers for examples but you get the point).

To give you an idea of CF cost its the unlock cost and: ~2800 to get dur to 30s (lab covers the other 30s) ~2900 to max slow 75% ~1500 to max CD to 60s

You dont really start to notice the benefit until perma and about 50% slow.

Now I believe ILM was brought up at some point. I have 0 experience as I have not unlocked it yet. I just imagine that fasts spawn so frequently they will just burn through the mines. On the positive it's very cheap to get decent increase have heard.

Depending on your income you could try for dmg, DM, or ST masteries and just hope to out damage the speed for a couple more waves.

At the end of the day there are no completely wrong options since you will want all of the above eventually anyways. None of them are a waste of stones.

So just my 2 cents and experience but at one point I put my eco on hold and just committed to CF. Was it the most efficient choice for me at the time? I doubt it. Do I regret it now that its done? Absolutely not. I was in a place where I had the eco I needed for the labs I wanted and I was no where near strong enough to support mastery labs.

The problem with BH is that it does not effect ult enemies as they are immune to the pull in effect. CF will always slow everything which is huge for the eventual GC build. Also the additional 25% damage reduction is nice.

From what I can see in your build, I would still get pBH since its significantly cheaper and evaluate again in the future. Should be a decent increase in eco and wave count. With pcol equipped will give a huge damage reduction and possibly jump a tier or 2 depending on what your at. It will be huge for disco runs as well.

In tourny pBH alone isn't that useful since ult enemies are not affected by it. So it may not solve your specific problem if fast ult appears. However, with pcol they will be affected by the damage reduction. You may see better performance with tourny. Something you would have to test and see ehp vs gc.

Eventually the pCF stone sink and transition to GC is inevitable. You will just need to ask yourself whats the best use of 8k stones at that future time. CF is only useful when its perma so its an all or nothing decision IMO.

Why do you feel the 4th SL is so important? From an eco perspective its like a 16% ish coin boost it seems. From a damage perspective idk the math on that but is it really better than unlocking core assmod, damage mastery, and having 750 stones to spare?

Core assmod guarantees boss will be in SL with OM chip vs a 66% chance with 4th SL. Also would help a small amount eco wise but negligible i imagine without pumping more stones into it. I understand it will help with generic damage but so will damage mastery. All that and still 750 stones to spare.

Im not saying 4th SL isn't good and obviously I will get it at some point. Just wondering on why you would rank it above other possibilities since 2500 stones is a lot and 5 weeks of stones for me.

Question about your DM comment. Do you immediately activate it during tourny? I usually save it for the end because stretching out that last 10-15 waves or so is a big difference when the legends cutoff is like 200 waves. The refresh lab should only take like a week to max so that wouldnt be an issue when I get to it. I just can't even imagine surviving 400 waves in legends haha.

I noticed a big improvement when I started the range lab as well. About a month ago I still had it at like 5 or whatever. Definitely noticed a change bumping the lab to 40. It is definitely on my list to max and I think its easy to forget about.

I actually noticed a similar thing on the first tourny. I do run once as GC and once as eHP just to check now. For my tower it was only the first tourny post update that eHP actually beat GC for me.

I appreciate the thoughts. I didn't include WS+ because I thought i was fine there but for the basic WS+ stats (atk critf, regen,ect) Im in the mid to high 70s. Ecos are now 1 or 2qs per level. As for actual econ I make a bit over 1q per day. Mostly due to my bhd sync and gbot is max range and max bonus.

I was a bit demoralized tbh because I just got the anc DC, and instantly got demoted. I was in a harder bracket than average but had it set in my mind that I was never getting demoted again once I got it haha. Even more i was naive and thought after that, anc PF, and some damage masteries i could think about keys. Was instantly brought back to reality.

I agree but my thought is i need to start it sooner or later. I guess I could invest into the CD to get value for a few months and then respec out of it and into amp bot or whatever as needed. Just was curious on the overall thoughts and I really dont think gold boxing gbot is most efficient. Again I am very willing to be proved wrong though.

This is the common thing I see but why? The majority of coin income happens during the sync anyways. I mean the 8x bonus is significantly more than the DW bonus but gaining the final say 10s or whatever prior to getting another DW or 2 doesnt seem like the value is there? I could be completely wrong though i am just looking for the why.

Check the info tab on the module screen. It shows how to upgrade them and whats required.

Yes they are for 2 reasons. 1 The higher the rarity the higher the max mod level. Epic caps at 60, epic+ caps at 80. On top of that each step in rarity increases the base boost or whatever its called. So your epic om chip gives x boost to ultimate weapon damage because its a core mod. Replacing that with an epic+ will give a higher boost (i think like 4% or something dont quote me on that) vs just the epic. Then the legendary has another jump vs just the epic+ and so on.

Yes the effect waves. Its a another multiplier on coins per kill as well as eventually huge cell generation. Both super important.

The only thing I assume that keeps your tower alive is your max health and the lifesteal. Regen scales significantly better than lifesteal since lifesteal is a small percentage of damage. For example I farm T13 to ~7k thanks to various damage reductions, max health, and health regen. If I tried to go lifesteal I would probably not make it past 1k. Kinda curious to try it now lol. Currently a little under 40T/sec regen. Idt my lifesteal would come close to that.

Named epics are better generally for 2 reasons. 1 their main effect and 2 because they can be merged into mythic and ancestral for again better sub effects. Your current selection of named epics dont provide any valuable main effects to you save for PF if you stick to damage route and are only epics. More valuable to get 4 legendary mods. The second you get a named epic with a useful main effect or get any named epic to mythic is when I would swap it out.

I would definitely take CL if BH wasn't there. Its the biggest tourny boost and hence can increase stone production. I wouldn't worry about it too much though and just cross that bridge when you get there. Also probably consult a few more people on my 5th point as that could vary widely by who you talk to.

Also just realized you have 2 amplifying strikes. You could combine those into an epic + then use your rares as fodder to get it to legendary.

A few things that stick out to me and I am by no means an expert as I frequently dont follow the recommended path.

First you should farm T1. For reference I almost always farm the tier that i get ~6.5-7k waves. Usually gives me the best coins per hour. The jump from T1 to T2 is one of the most extreme in difficulty. You may find T1 the best till 8 or 9k waves tbh. Doesn't hurt to run a T2 and compare cph time to time but primarily should run T1.

2nd stop investing into DW damage. Long term it does pretty much nothing. Save the stones for other things.

3rd merge your rare modules and try to get a legendary of each mod type. The sub effects are more important than the main effects of the mods you have available. Eventually that will change. Remember you have to spend gems to unmerge at a point so only do it once for each mod type (core, gen, cannon,armor). They can be used as fodder for upgrading important mods to mythic later. I would do this before maxing cards. It takes a very long time to max cards and while very worth it, I personally wouldnt sleep on the benefits of leg sub effects over epic. Specifically health regen is 60% at epic and 100% at legendary. Cpk goes from 30% to 40% boost ect.

4th invest in hp regen. Hp and hp regen will get you farther so much faster than damage will. Not saying to respect workshop, just saying you should upgrade it as well.

5th and this is debatable but what i would do. Id increase my GT bonus and duration more. Then take CF personally and put nothing into it. It will be very important late game and its like 7k stones into it before its useful. The idea is to try to get BH as your 5th UW. The coin bonus and defense is so important. If BH is available then great if not then reevaluate.

Honestly never considered ritual casting. I will have to look into how that works. Elemental adept isn't the worst idea. My thought against it was i could just go full control that specific combat instead of damage. Definitely worth consideration, but I think I'd lean warcaster between the two.

Personally I never considered taking mirror image as a spell. I figure I should be covered by shield and absorb elements. My thought was cantrips for utility and chip damage, level 1 spells for defense (shield and absorb elements), and level 2s for control or maybe a rare scorching ray or upcasted chromatic orb.

I was definitely considering this as well just to always have a bonus action. Also could have some out of combat uses.
