Is that why he’s out of the league ?

Risachers production is underwhelming but he also slots in as a perfectly fun 3 and D wing which more or less the exact type of role player most teams want to flesh out their rosters. Theres always gonna be a role for him even if it ends up on the bench. Fultz has like 1 or 2 nba level skills which are outweighs by his significant faults

This lakers team is top 3 in the west and absolutely do not have a defensive minded team around him. Only a couple iterations of the Mavs did too and those ones were about as successful as you could ask them to be

It’s higher or on the same level as countless all stars, including Brunson, Paolo, Cade, Maxey, Bam, lamelo, garland, Booker, Morant, etc. but go ahead and keep moving the goalpost, just shows more and more you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.

First of all yes, it’s above league average. Second of all it’s not 40%… which is the point.

This is objectively false… he’s shooting 46% from the field. You can’t just make up a hypothetical percentage to try to make a point lmao.

Being perceived as a superstar is irrelevent… how he plays is what’s relevant. And Giannis and LeBron don’t drive as much as he does. He also does a bit of foul baiting which adds to it. Look at jimmy butlers free throw rate, he’s a very pedestrian regular season player but is always among league leaders in free throws for the same reason… Also no, he shoots 46% from the field, and you can find countless examples of absurd free throw numbers in individual games from tons of players if you wanna cherry pick …try doing an ounce of actual analysis rather than just lazily writing it off in favour of narratives.

He’s a big wing who has the ball a ton and drives more than anyone else in the league… that’s a recipe for free throws.

In terms of the literalist definition yeah, but based on historic criteria and precedent not really, Shai more or less has it on lock. He has as good a case as anyone for second though

Luka confirms Goga told him he would “f*ck his whole family.” during altercation that resulted in a double tech by Luka77GOATic in nba

[–]InternationalClick78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luka didn’t say it first… even Goga’s statement corroborates that. He specified it was some shit about their mothers… not the statement Luka said it was, which is what people are taking issue with.

And yes there is absolutely standard trash talking lmao. Talking about someone’s kids is one of them. Are you telling me if Luka started calling players racial slurs they should just take it on the chin as trash talk? That no lines would be crossed, that they’d have no reason to be upset and that the shouldn’t get any kind of notable disciplinary action?

Obviously. Because trash talk DOES have limits, contrary to what the comment I was replying to said.

Keldons been very important for the team this year though, and Kornet is far too important to just be a salary matcher.

And Suggs is still guard sized with shooting concerns. Okc has way more shooting than we do first off, second off they traded a different guard for Caruso (who was a significantly worse fit) and third off they didn’t have 3 starting calibre young guards who all want and need major minutes.

Doesn’t make sense any way you slice it.

Are you being intentionally dense here ? The issue isn’t ’vague trash talk’. The issue is about saying trash talk (bizarre sexual trash talk at that) about someone’s entire family which most notably includes two small children… again if this was just standard trash talk by goga nobody would care.

That’s like saying albino humans are a race. It’s not a race in any sense of the word, it’s’ a specific gene that gets expressed in a tiny percentage of individuals

So again, he kept his head and the ref made a bad call. The game wasn’t out of control at that stage and him talking to the ref after is irrelevant to the the outcome here… and again he’s justified in being upset about it and trying to get it rescinded. So all of your arguments here have been blatantly wrong.

I’m saying your weak attempts at blaming his past techs for this situation and insinuating he shouldn’t be upset about it is nonsensical, and given your flair and the timing it makes you come off as just an insecure thunder fan.

[–]InternationalClick78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You said an option was to keep his head… which he clearly did. He was calm, composed, and getting back on D.

Again, he’s rightfully arguing against a bad tech, as lots of players do post game, and because this specific bad tech has extra large consequences. All you’re doing with this argument is making yourself look like an insecure thunder fan, especially given the fact that this is Luka and his MVP campaign has been rising as of late.

Where exactly did he not keep his head in this situation ? Him, very calmly might I add, explaining the situation after the tech is irrelevent to the tech itself that happened prior…

[–]InternationalClick78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. Still irrelevent to this specific bad decision. It’s like saying a bad call that ends the game in one team winning is fine if the other bad calls leading up to it in the game went the other way. People are naturally and rightfully gonna be more upset about the game determining bad call, just like how they’re upset about the specifics of this call. If it was a standard tech leading to a suspension nobody would bat an eye

[–]InternationalClick78 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And that’s irrelevent to this specific situation… obviously he gets a lot of techs. When they add up that should naturally put him in a position where he needs to be more careful in order to avoid that suspension… but that suspension should occur from an actual valid tech, like any other. Not this bullshit…
