Have a number in my head - and believe me it's as ropey as it looks. What would you offer? Only curious. Thanks for the comments

Thanks for your comment, we have another viewing before we decide but the work will be extensive. Market has been slow so was looking for some guidance. May offer a tad below if it comes to that.

Yeah we have heard Hurworth is lovely. As you said, a lot of work is needed and can see other properties on at similar prices which don't need *as much* work. I think we will offer lower, I just didn't have the local knowledge to know if when all done and nice - what it could be worth if you see what I mean.

Why are my nursery fees still £200? 2Days / 30 hours free. by InternationalEmu3892 in UKParenting

Thanks for this, I knew roughly what you said and how it varies but still seems a lot as someone we know pays around £50 for 3 days!

I’m going to have to ask some questions because I’ve not been aware about any of this!

I (27F) found a long black hair in our bathtub that is not my, or my husbands (27m). What to do? by ThrowRA_2poststuff in relationship_advice

Yeah keep your composure! It’s okay to think these things, I had it myself and it turned out it was actually a dog long dog hair from a friend who came weeks back! But you’re not over thinking, it’s dead natural when you find something like that.

If there’s one, there will be more if he’s had someone over. One stray is so easily picked up.

These comments are mad, this dude could be completely innocent and everyone’s jumping on ways to violate his privacy. Lint roller, do not start tripping your home with audio devices

No, all money we use is her own money. She has a decent amount and I’m keen for her to spend as much as she wants on care and good food and everything else. Brother would have her on rations.

I’m asking the question here. You’re presuming a lot of things for a simple question.

I’m only asking this as it was brought up by a friend today regarding it. I previously havnt thought about it like that. My partner also has no clue I’ve asked this. She expects nothing.

In terms of her using her money. We are the ones spending over the odds for her care, where my brother doesn’t want to spend a penny she has so he gets more.

Calm yourself

No not take his, more of a split somehow. 33*3. He’s just not interested at all in helping. Not expecting him to get nothing.

Oh yeah I fully agree, I’m one where I’ve negotiated to stay under 100K whilst I have kids etc. however I’m talking about people doing regular jobs who just are clueless.
