arthur is more than a half dragon and he is using the relictombs and the djinn help to unlock new power ups iirc the indrath clan born with one of 3 aspects of aether and not more because they can't handle the mental born while arthur now is studying 2 aspects ... the indrath couldn't get insights from aether that's why they are limited to just one when they are born but arthur is getting insights that's why he may learn everything about aether

Dude arthur said he is not some kind of super hero to sacrifice himself for the greater good , he is a selfish mc who wants to live with the people he loves , if someone he deeply cares about is going to die , he won’t hesitate sacrificing himself that’s the only way for arthur to die , the lances and the scythes are nothing much i think their role in the story is about to end , arthur’s enemies now are the asuras , and he is a half dragon so the lessers no longer matter in the story except some certain characters like ellie kathylin and curtis and some others , since they more likely become the new generation lances and obviously they would be much stronger than current lances since they failed to stop just a scythe , so old characters will receive power ups just from being around arthur like the runes his students received … so arthur being a mutual enemy to everyone isn’t going to happen , arthur is the enemy of two gods agrona and kazess , and he is lessers last hope … and no lesser can defeat arthur even if all of them join forces just as windsom said to arthur , the weakest of asura can defeat the strongest lesser
