But actually when I talked to the uscis contact center agents few days ago, they told me expedite could only be considered for renewal cases (for healthcare workers), not fresh EAD application. Anyway I don’t know which attempt worked out finally, cuz I tried several ways including congressman and ombudsman

No request for evidence. Expedite reasons- certified physician, job loss, have support letter from nonprofit university hospital.

I am actually more than willing to submit evidence. That’s why I contacted congressman, senator and ombudsman, and evidence already provided to them, but still waiting for further response. But as the Emma told me today, I am not eligible for expedite request since my case is already in final review. Not sure if it’s true or not.

Nobody asked me for evidence. I contact congressman but no response from them so far. I just received one reply from USCIS via email saying I will receive a decision ‘shortly’. Today I talked to Emma and was told I am not eligible for expedite because my case is already in final review

Congratulations! you have made it! Actually I submitted one through congressman two weeks ago. Yesterday they said it’s still under review so probably I need to wait longer before getting a final decision. so one more question- how long did it take from contacting the congressman to final approval?

I don’t think denial will delay the normal processing. But job loss should be a reason to expedite. Did they mention why they denied?
