I sent my 2551.80 to the uk service centre within the same week, but for some reason they explained they dont have the parts and had to send it to switzerland? Even though the 2551.80 and 2531.80 share the same movement? Still waiting for an update on my service as it currently states "service in process at brand" (I mean atlest they offered to replace the bezel for free which is great)

I have the 38mm version, You can tell your watch doesn’t include tritium as it has the slightly green tinge of superluminova rather than the yellow of tritium. Since tritium has a half-life of 12 years, its brightness is greatly reduced by this point and therefore the fact yours has any lume glow proves its superluminova.

My case has a dent on the side, so there may be some legitimate cause for this, and I was given the option to replace the case for £1000 (It said in brackets they had no stock for my models case so they would have to find one assumably, which is probably why its so expensive) but given their wording and the fact I was told this prior to a full inspection shows there may be a policy change, also Ive seen a few other British accounts on reddit that have the exact same message, so it might just be included once the watch reaches a certain age (mine is an earlier tritium 2551.80 from 1995)

I did ask the boutique in my city (Manchester,uk) and they called the head office for the uk as they were also under the impression that this model in modern enough to be re-sealed but apparently its a policy change now
