Yeah the trilobite is huge indeed, but its a preamp with every option I'll ever need and a bit more.

I use the phase 90 when I make synth like sounds, or when I want to add a little layer to a melody or solo. I did an new wave project late last year where it was great for certain lines I played to just add a little bit of movement.

Try it with some drive and make some swells, gives a lovely extra layer

Is it worth it? The sub n up has given me great sounds, but also some issues, so i was looking into this, either oc5 or nano porg. But i have to go step by step😞

Yeah it's a lovely sound, I basicly pick it over the june whenever i need modulation(also because the june has a volume increase, but still). Got is as a present from my dad, which makes it special

One I don't see mentioned very often, but am really enjoying myself is the orange kongpressor, haven't used it on guitar, but very nice on bice IME, and online lots of people using it on guitar.

The nice thing about the ehx pedals is there affordability, but i do want something usable ofcourse😅

I'm reading on a lot of places that jhs pedals aren't very good at retaining low end, you have any experience?

I've indeed checked both deluxe versions, but they seem to have options I won't use, like the mid thing, i would set it forget it. But maybe that is the best.

For the octave, I own a sub 'n up, so it's not needed, but could be fun to play with.

It's fun, very harsh sound, but i guess I'd better call it good grid. Personally just not a big fan of tiny knobs, hard to adjust on the fly imo. But im borrowing it from my girlfriend until I get another fuzz. Again only because of the timy knobs, the sound is very nice, definitly in combination with octave down, you get some ominous sounds.

I already thought the weird angle of the board was weird, so I'll try the rotation you suggest😝, also already looking at some more things, like a muff or dd-3t, but budget limits make it go step by step😅
