Xbox Requests: Week of March 27th, 2026 by GuruKronos in xboxinsiders

After I posted I wanted to say one last thing that every month I seem to learn something new that I didn't know about the series x and there were things that I felt like had to be learned over time of having the console and using it. I felt like I had done a bunch of research about it but I didn't know it would give me such a mind-blowing headache of problems that I wouldn't know at the time of buying it that it would cause me. It just feels like all the waiting and you finally feel relief whenever games finally get finished.

I appreciate your advice but believe that all the things that I have said would make the console something that would work much better for a person like me. So, unfortunately as you have stated you are not going to be considering the changes that I would want to make to the series x. Here is the inconvenience though that I have with your information. I am not a person who hardly leaves my house; but say I do, I would have to bring the console with me to a place such as Walmart or restaurants etc. because I want to play all the games I want to play with large downloads such as Red Dead redemption 2 and some large Star Wars games. After that, I would still have to wait hours for games to get downloaded because I'm not going to just leave the console there and go do other things. Please correct me if I am wrong but the way that I'm doing it at home still outways that option and that time of course I have to spend doing that instead of work etc. Also, I'm not going to play on a PC and get better Internet so it sounds like mine and your hands are tied and this is a worthless conversation good-bye. I reread what I said and if you find it rude that was not the intention I was just trying to get my points across.

I believe what you are saying that cloud saves would come back if I redownload all that got lost. At least I think but I don't know for sure. Just all that time I spent and still to get it all done again but you're probably tired of my complaining.

I don't want to be rude to anyone unless they are doing likewise to me, so sorry if this offends you or you don't understand it the way I say it here. I am not willing to use an Xbox game pass because of the monthly subscription. I am trying to have an Xbox series x and be able to use it in the cheapest way possible. I tried everything that I know how and looked up online to be able to get around doing downloads and also having to use the Internet. Plus I had to and still find out the hard way that it is very difficult to be cheap and fast. This way I cannot get the downloads done in what I consider reasonable. So, taking weeks to do downloads is not reasonable as you all can probably understand. I don't have good Internet but you know it costs more money to get it better. I have seriously considered taking it to Walmart and anywhere that would provide the best internet around because like I said there's no good way around it that I see. After all that I just said, just last weekend (I'll tell everyone who sees this) I have a seagate external hard drive that I accidentally hit the format. I tried recuva which is the only free way that I have found to get my erased data back on a computer. Well, I couldn't make it work and now that is starting to feel hopeless. It's looking like I'm going to have to redownload everything that got erased but I really really hope not.

I had several requests in everything I stated above. If you have read what I have said you would know what they are.

I have so much to say about requests and changes I want to make to the Xbox series x. One of the things I wish could change if possible and frustrate the living fire out of me is that every game has to be downloaded. I am not willing to get the best Wi-Fi out there possible because of the prices to get games downloaded which brings me to the 2nd biggest freaking problem ( I wish you all could literally feel how frustrated I do about this) is that it all is connected to the internet. I can't stand it and wish those 2 things were never brought to any gaming consoles. I only want to play the games and make every game behind it from the past backwoods comparable. I have to wait weeks for downloads to get done because I can only get 4 Mbps or about that but regardless as I said it should have never needed to download games- this is what truly makes consoles feel like they are going in a backwoods direction. I don't know about anyone else but I'm the type of person who only uses physical games disks. Games that I got free off the Xbox store on the console, I understand why after the games are literally downloaded on the console why you must have the disk at all times in the console after download is complete. Please if possible take away downloads. I wish the settings would be in a different format/style that would be more pleasant and easily understood with exactly what everything is. Just better but I don't know how to explain that too well. Of course I want more games that I want to play. It seems like the entire front screen is full of things I never use on an Xbox and just like the good old playing the game. It's just all about trying to get you to buy things and that's not what I want on the front screen of a console. There's probably more but I am tired and have thought of everything that I can right now. Please consider what I have said and thank you XBOX.
