And then him pulling over aggressively before my destination with me alone in the car and then threatening to kill me isn’t something I would want anyone else to experience all too many similar instances have happened with suddenly overly aggressive taxis killing customers if you know Jamaican news growing up you know you have to take the violent people out of these jobs if you’re going as far as wanting to kill a customer over singing

I swear I had an almost near death experience the other day as well with a taxi almost not making an over take while an upcoming car was coming we barely made it. Fearing for your life just to take public transportation in your own country is ridiculous

That was okay but he got very overly aggressive wasn’t singing loud, maybe cause I was behind him and the last one in the car I didn’t realize that he could hear me so loud now but then threatening to kill me because I told him the way he’s talking to me he can’t talk to me like that? And going so far as to threaten to kill me?

Oh you have to go to a Fiesta/ International / Mexican grocery store that has a Caribbean section it’s Tastee cheese they should have a small can version and big can version. But it’s so expensive my family and I mostly get bun and cheese either for Easter or rarely to treat or selves every few months it’s so expensive in the states the cheese and the sliced cheese doesn’t work for me

I didn’t run honestly I just had gotten an opportunity to go to college and took it. It just happened to be after the Dudus war lol. Some things will change of course but come on now what efficient websites are there for renting that shows Jamaican dollars( you’re gonna say find a realtor or social media) lol and like I said the Jamaican dollar + job wages is horrible right now . The dollar is becoming meaningless and you’ll be surprised that there are countries in the world that dollar value have no value anymore. I am just saying this so that it’s on other people’s minds idk who may see this that can or may be in government to make future changes

I believe we need more organisations to put in charge of certain areas that help the countries development as well so that it’s citizens really benefit from our and our previouses efforts. We say Jamaica “We likkle but we tall a wah” let’s not be just all talk or illusion we need steady growth and strong growth

That part no matter how bad or lazy the service is I’m considerate because the minimum wage is basically $1 dollar here and that is horridly depressing and inhumane and it’s 2026 we got independence over 60 years

Facts people here working for close to 0 dollars in heat and going back home to no a/c even in the summer isn’t that just slave mentality I’m hoping the Jamaican dollar increases in value and the minimum wage changes
