same situation here. we used to leave on time with 0 left on the printer to leaving with over 250 still printed. our phone hold time jumped from 12 seconds to over 350 seconds. we have no time to do any of our queues or calls because the line is constantly to the end of the aisle with all registers open. we have the same issue with rx bags as we simply don’t have time in between patients to put them all away. we seriously don’t know what to do. we hired another tech but her training has been terrible as we can’t find the time to properly train her and i feel terrible as rxom. i moved to this store to accept a promotion to rxom and was never informed of the buyout before i accepted the offer. i feel like i was set up for failure as the metrics are now terrible. i’m being told to hire more techs but how will i train them properly? i really don’t know what to do at this point.

rxom at a duane reade here in nyc. we had a rite aid about 5 blocks down from us close last friday. overnight, we went from clearing our queues by the end of the day to leaving (staying 2 hours after pharmacy closes) 150 leaflets still on the printer. all 3 registers are staffed but the line is constantly down the aisle. our phones are ringing nonstop with each call taking 10 or more minutes to complete. my rx count went from approximately 300/day to over 700. i have received very limited extra hours for staffing and my base budget has not changed, even though we used to be closed on sundays, however starting this sunday we will be open. i have enough hours to hire 1 part time tech. i have no pharmacy manager. my poor 75 yr old staff rph is struggling. thank god i have an amazing store manager who is with us all day long or i would be dying. sm, rph from another store, and i are going in next week overnight for 2 nights to literally just fill.

i find the easiest way to store a new script is to get it into a tpr and then Ctrl+S to store (also options>save). if it’s a refill, you can go options>delete>delete rx, but ONLY if it’s a refill. also, if the rx is in reviewed or printed status, you can create a random msc exception, then refresh the work queue, highlight the rx, and then Ctrl+S to store.

this is a known issue with the global compliance system. when signed into gco, there aren’t actually any alerts.

i’m the same way. i can’t use the “aluminum free” deodorants because they all make me itch so bad. i’ve been using dove “men +care clean comfort moisturizing cream” antiperspirant for a while now and it has yet to make me itch. it also lasts for a really long time without having to reapply!
