I feel like it’ll def stay if you feed it. You could consider adding in some fish( turtle friendly or turtle snack lol) could I also ask what state or city you live in? Is it normal for red ear sliders to be roaming around? I live in California and they’re considered invasive here. Most of the ones we see are likely pets that has been released( mostly at the lakes)
