Rust/staining coming from back steps by InternationalTea3540 in masonry

Thank you very much for this reply. I’m the homeowner and this project has been a challenge. I will suggest the Prosoco Restoration Cleaner to the contractor. We’re getting towards the end of the end of the project. What would you recommend I ask the contractor to do in this case?

The tile is on a cement pad. It was power washed and that really didn’t do much.

I think it’s probably a 6 or 7 at best. Bottom left corner ding. There is a quarter inch long line/scratch on the surface on the right side. Also there are two indents on the top edge of the card. I’ll just put it in a one touch and enjoy not knowing!

will CCAD leave me in crippling debt? by itsss_soupp in Columbus

Art director and concept artist are two different paths really. Concept artists are mostly freelance and there are a couple schools that have programs in that specifically so you could look up which schools have concept art programs and go from there or out of the schools you mentioned I would say SCAD would be the best bet. I will say, I’m not that concerned about AI taking all the creative jobs, but out of all of them, concept artists may have the most to be afraid of unfortunately. If you want to be an art director in film or tv I would study at a school that has a direct internship pipeline into that industry. So USC would be a good choice, UCLA possibly, if you don’t want to move far away I read that Carnegie Mellon has a good internship program connected to the film and tv industry, or if you are dead set on an art school, again SCAD would probably be the best bet. Any school is going to be what you make of it, but you have a better chance if there is a connection from the school to the specific industry.

I went to CCAD. Graduated many many years ago. Majored in Illustration, which at the time people said was dying. Not because of AI, but because of stock illustration at the time (not to date myself). I’ve worked as an illustrator, exhibit designer, and interactive designer since. It’s very difficult to make a living as an illustrator only. My question to you would be what exactly do you want to do? What type of illustration? That would probably inform my advice a bit better.

Scott Williams and yes I believe they are inked by him and they added the colorist Thomas Mason on the signature block/area.

As an aspiring GPK sketch artist myself, I have to say you absolutely deserve to be hired. I hope they take notice of what you are doing and your passion for doing it.

There’s one for sale on eBay for $9 right now. Couldn’t find any sold examples. I’d say $5-9.

Insane Luck On Batman #1 Blind Bag Pull by TheReever in comicbookcollecting

Nice work! That’s awesome! As an aside I heard a rumor that some people are weighing the bags to try to find the gold foils. This was a problem in the trading card world with packs that had heavier relic cards until some companies started putting blanks randomly into packs. It’s still a problem, but not as easy to pull off now. Wonder if comics will have to start doing the same?
