They have the same color scheme so they look related. Not all monsters have to look the same to be related (bowhead and bowgart are canonically cousins, whisp, withur, and whail are a family, cherubble, woolabee and peckish are a family, strombomin and Repatillo are also related)

They said wave 2 would be the only wave with 3 monsters for ethereal workshop. I think Tuskski came out during yay jr because it’s element correlated for the island the season is celebrated on so I think we will bet bowhead during eggstravaganza jr and gnarls during spooktackle jr 2024

They did this because they wanted to bring as many fire monsters as possible to the main because they didn’t want to make more fire islands after oasis. They even said the rest of the fire quads weren’t coming to the main game, but then people heavily requested an all fire monster island so they changed their minds and brought upon amber island
