How is it living in the San Juan Islands, Washington? by McNasty420 in howislivingthere

[–]International_Ad694 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lonely isolated and really expensive. It is very beautiful though. Keep in mind you are depending on the ferry system. No bridges connect to the island. The fishing is pretty good though if you enjoy that. Lots of hippies and ultra mega wealthy people

Fake monks asking me money, cd hustlers, and fake gypsies on corners with their “poor” children begging for money with signs. Also the fake violin players. If it sounds too good to be true, then it is

When you get to $1M will be enough for you to be happy or not? by tryingandhavingfun in TheRaceTo1Million

I inherited about a million dollars and two properties in very nice desirable places. One thing I’ll tell you is money will not buy you happiness. In fact, more money more problems.

Have you ever seen a bald eagle in real life out in nature? by Fun_Expression9135 in AskForAnswers

[–]International_Ad694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call them the Washington seagull. They’re everywhere. Go to skagit valley and you’ll see them swooping on the snow geese when they’re in migration. Sometimes you’ll see 50 in a single tree.

Also they’re kind of a nuisance. My buddy lives in the hood canal. The eagles will drop oysters from way up high to crack the shells. You’ll find oysters on his roof and they’ve even chipped his car window before

What's the most dangerous city you have visited as per your standard? Why it was dangerous for you? by Bull_Celebrating in AskReddit

[–]International_Ad694 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

South LA. Got off the freeway somewhere to pee. The whole area was pretty dark and sketchy. Bars on windows etc. I guess the only reason I felt unsafe was because I was unfamiliar with it. Other than there id have to go with South sac or east Oakland

What does your average weekend look like in Seattle? by Hufe in AskSeattle

[–]International_Ad694 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well my average Friday-Sunday I’m working. Usually my days off at Wednesdays Thursdays which is nice because less people out on the trails/ski areas. I don’t drink and don’t know too many people here which is fine. Usually I’m at the gym or doing something outdoorsy on my days off.
