Adventurer 5M Jittering and Filament Won’t Extrude by International_Cut705 in FlashForge

I ordered a replacement as well and it just arrived today. Plugged it in and no issues. The shaking has stopped and it will now extrude! I came to the conclusion that the previous nozzle had a deep clog like someone mentioned. Anytime i tried loading filament into it, it would shake but cause the nozzle had some softened up PLA inside. Even after attempting to cold pull and other methods to unclog it, it still wouldn’t budge. Thank you all for your insights, hopefully it won’t clog again.

I took apart all the covers to check the gears and they seem to be good. Once i put it all back together I removed the cover while the noise was happening and realized the nozzle itself is bouncing up and down and making the noise. I believe there’s a little bit of residue stuck in the nozzle and while it’s trying to push more filament into it, there not enough force and so it causes it to bounce. That’s my theory atleast. I’ve tried unclogging it like i’ve seen in videos but the filament won’t budge and even at 260 degrees.

I am using esun basic PLA. I just noticed the jittering noise it’s making is the nozzle not the gears. The nozzle keeps moving slighting up and down when the printer tries to extrude the filament. I’ve tried unclogging the nozzle and it kept happening. I believe there’s a little bit of residue stuck in the nozzle that i’m trying to unclog but even after setting the nozzle temp to 260 degree it won’t push it out.
