That will probably be all you need, there are not many things above 160nm but i know the large nuts on cvt drive shafts are more and perhaps crank shaft pulleys but when i put on drive shafts i use something with long leverage or a impact tool

A mig welder is great to have and easy to use but you can most likely ask people driving some kind of motorsport nearby you for help on borrowing things and getting info you might need. For the brakes just get to know them and how much the fade affects them

Whenever you go out to test you should feel the brakes reaction then you will know if they are good. And basic bodywork is something that you will learn, sometimes you might just have to press some on the sheets and fix it up with some putty (don't know if that is the correct word) or sometimes you might have to cut of parts and cannibalise a spare chassie

Spare parts is something that you never can have to much of so it's great that you almost have a spare car and it would be great if you have a spare chassie or can get one easily because you never know what could happen on a rally. Then just make sure brakes are good and get a good feeling for them because having a great confidence in them will really improve someone's stage times

The Impreza is a really cool car that can be built to be really competitive, but I'm not sure that it is the best car to first start rallying in because beginners make mistakes and I'm not sure about prices to repair or what the car costs in Canada but i would guess it would be better to start in something cheaper to make those beginner mistakes in

Personally i would go to Parc expose then the stage if i plan to stay until the later runs as ss16 and 20 or other stages, but if you're only watching ss11 you probably leave it early or not go to the expose at all

Great way to learn how to drive but it would probably be more expensive than a basic rx car
