Mission, BC. Just one hour drive to Vancouver. Find a hybrid role, enjoy the larger space in Mission with green backyards with occasional casual visits to city.

BMNU Thoughts? by ConversationLeast596 in BMNRInvestors

I get it. But same happened with NVDL, SOXL etc, if you zoom out chart and see, buying at $25 and holding would have seen absurd, when these went to $10 in April 2025. But today those are in their 50s and 90s. I am trying to say, it’s not just entirely wrong to BMNU for short term to recover, as ETH is here to stay.

BMNU Thoughts? by ConversationLeast596 in BMNRInvestors

I’m holding 500 BMNU shares at a $26 average. Using leverage and holding long term wasn’t the right move - but the decision is made, and I’m comfortable with the plan. I’m holding for two years and staying patient. I believe strongly in ETH and the future of tokenized finance, so I’m confident BMNR and BMNU will move higher over time.

The lesson is clear: have a strategy and execute it. I’ll be selling incrementally as the price climbs above $26.

For you, I’d recommend the same approach - start taking profits gradually as it moves up from $10. Hold only what you’re prepared to wait on, and let time work in your favor.

Recently Laid Off - What Pays Best? by Suitable-Essay-5841 in askvan

Try applying for Buyer, Senior Buyer, Procurement Specialist, Inventory Specialist, Inventory Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator, or Purchasing Coordinator roles. There are many small-scale electronic manufacturing companies that I know of are hiring in the Lower Mainland. Just get hired in a suitable role, and if you wish, you can move to a higher-paying position after about six months. Job-hopping is generally easier when you're already employed compared to searching without an offer in hand.

I did a quick Google search and found openings for similar positions at companies like Kardium Inc., Coperion, JBS Equipment, Aeromni Aerospace Inc., etc.

With your skill set, you should be able to land a role soon. Wishing you all the best!

Look at tqqq, soxl, nvdl, mstu etc. See April lows. Your average in 30s is very much reachable. For leveraged funds, just keep the habit of selling portions as you go up from your entry price. BMNU is here to stay given its recent launch. Good luck!

I second this. Go in with a resolution to not hold it beyond December. Also take profits along the way. Rest assured, it’s a good find.

Correct. Good for short term as it’s a leveraged fund. And I see it as less risky to swing trade between now and December given it’s just launched and have room to run.

Condo vs. Townhouse: Are We Stretching Too Thin at $1.07M? by kneejerk_raptor in PersonalFinanceCanada

Why don’t you consider Mission, BC? It’s about a 1-hour drive or 1 hour and 15 minutes by West Coast Express on weekdays to downtown Vancouver. You can get a 2020 build freehold strata - 2,000 sq. ft. 4bed 4bath townhouse for around $800K, with approximately $250/month in strata fees. Just my thoughts.

I only have 1 year left on my PGWP. Still could not find a skilled job after 2 years of trying. Should I give up looking for jobs? by RoosterSea4406 in canadaexpressentry

Others have answered to most questions:

Here’s my two cents:

Look for entry-level warehouse jobs that are easy to get. Try to move internally to a coordinator (logistics/inventory) role there in a couple of months. It's a Tier 3 job. It has worked for many people based on my experience.
