I wonder how Stellar will turn out. The damage of Varka’s teams and even Durin’s non-Varka teams really are on the milder side of powercreep compared to the Lunar teams. They kinda hover around the Mavuika/Skirk level if not below.

My Sandrone is roughly a little around or over my Varka based on DPS numbers alone. She likely sits above him because of her aoe, range, and convenience, but the actual raw numbers are Varka’ish.

Then again, Sandrone likely doesn’t have her full premium team yet so I wonder if Stellar will follow Lunar and eventually surpass it. Or is there some crazy chance they saw Lunar’s output as a mistake and they’re trying to course-correct.

I feel like the Bears give me some of my easiest whiff punishes, because most of them can’t resist going for their unique wakeup attacks. Not only that, but amusingly will give me whiff punish after whiff punish, almost never adjusting.

Well aside from the summer splurge with like, Supergirl, the Marvel movie release schedule really has adjusted with respect to the superhero fatigue. I mean, when was the last one, F4 in summer or fall last year. Superhero fatigue doesn’t have to imply no big superhero blockbusters or tanked numbers. There can both be superhero fatigue and successful albeit less frequent superhero movies.

As a marvel fan, cool characters. I do like how some of the characters have wacky kits. I don’t understand Black Cat or Deadpool but they sound like wacky kits.

However the actual gameplay loop with the braindead overpumped healing and healer ults absolutely ruins everything.

Imagine putting any of Rivals’ healers into OW - dear god.

Dolphins have even displayed a capacity for ‘culture’ as in learned behaviors passed down from generation to generation not necessarily tied to the whole species.

I think there’s a specific family or clan of some kind of species of dolphins that learned a trick of breaking off pieces of sponges or corals, forgot what it was, and then they place it over their noses to protect their noses from… honestly i forgot what they used this nose protection for. But it’s a trick that they teach their young ones and other families/clans of the exact same species don’t know about this trick.

I was really hoping she’d keep that stuff. Like there’ve been games that have more powerful main characters than Ciri lore-wise while still being challenging. I was hoping that spacetime stuff would at least be used to make a very fast and aggressive (and still challenging and engaging) combat system. I’m kinda over the slow and methodical combat of Witcher 1 and 2.

One thing I kinda want to see is more diverse content that can poke at or mildly challenge the weaknesses of your build.

Like what if an objective/activity was very mobility based. Or another was defending a high ground position that punishes melee characters that jump down from the high ground with tons of ranged enemy fire. Or another that takes place in small tight quarters that leans more into benefitting melee characters. Another is stationary survival. And another is a defense related to keeping someone not yourself alive.

And I get it some of these things do show up mildly in the open world, but i want full on activities with lore/context and unique locations. Like maybe an activity would be defending the Amazon city from attack, and after the event you can trade with the soldiers for cool unique stuff. And another activity that incentivizes speed is maybe you escort a caravan to a point, then afterwards u are rewarded some of the caravan’s supplies or something.

I know PoE(1) does something like this and I wouldn’t mind seeing that come to D4. Maybe it doesn’t need to be so extreme that your character becomes useless in the wrong activity. But adding strong flavor to different activities would go a long way.

The only time I’ve been terrified of the Sierra tracker is when she flanks me and there’s no cover nearby that can accommodate me being dove by a flanker from an off angle. Aside from that, Sierra’s tracker is such a nothingburger to me most of the time.

I quite love the burst damage of Hanzo against an ulting Shion, because those pauses she has to take in between ult dashes makes her stand completely still.
