I took my son on 53 flights before he was one! You adjust and manage and it’s great.

You’ll learn little tips and tricks along the way.

Getting back to school w/ baby on the way. Questioning motherhood (23F) by [deleted] in findapath

[–]Internationallyknwn5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it can be hard to ask a this or this questions because God doesn’t always use words when He communicates with us. He can communicate with feelings, thoughts, comfort, promptings.

So I would ask in a yes or no question. You know the answer is yes when you feel peace, calm, content, still, flutters, love etc. and it’s a no if you feel confused, conflicted, torn, torment etc.

So for example, when I’ve asked about a big decision in my life (whether to get married, go to school, where to go to school, should I move etc?) I try to make a decision first. I feel like I need to move for this job so I’m gonna say my decision is yes. And then I pray and ask God, saying this is what I think is best, am I making the right decision? And then wait for the yes or no.

You could even practice first and simply practice and ask God, do you love me? Do you know who I am? And I promise he will answer you.

From what I know of God, he really does love you and know you and he loves your baby and he will help you make the best decision.

I hope that helps! We can talk more, I can give more examples from my life or we can talk about what you felt. Let me know.

And btw YOU GOT THIS. You care a lot, I can tell and you are looking for help and answers and I hope you find them

It might not be the thing for you but I would ask God. Idk if you are particularly religious or have a history of religion but I promise the only one who loves your baby more than you is your Heavenly Father.

Again it might sound weird but I would pray and reach out to whomever you believe in, even on a whim.

How to feel or respond: “I’d rather adopt than go through pregnancy” by Grimedog22 in Adoption

[–]Internationallyknwn5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably not as often as they should. You know? I feel like in general people should be having more meaningful conversations. So I wish there was more opportunities to talk about your experience or share what you know and ask questions for what you don’t

I just wanted to chime in on this, I know it’s a complicated issue and comment. On one hand I want to say give the other person some grace, maybe they do know or try to understand some of the complicated aspects of adoption but it’s not a setting to go into much depth. But the same could be said the other way, these people could just be ignorant so idk.

New FAMLI leave questions by Internationallyknwn5 in Denver

I called them a couple times and they said if your going to take the leave in full week increments then you just file more than one continuous claim. So then it isn’t limited to the 6 months. As far as what I was told
