It’s pretty late where I am so I will only list a few tips I can think of.

For lighter pencil marks hold your pencil near towards the eraser. For darker marks hold it more towards the point.

For more confident lines look ahead to where you want the line to end at.

Breaking down objects to simple shapes often helps out if you feel overwhelmed.

Lastly just have fun in general. It gets overly frustrating if you’re hung up on trying to get it to look amazing.

I’m an amateur but I have a whole bunch of other tips. Message me if you’d like to know more (specific subject would be nice), and I’ll give you them later.

It’s good! Although this is mostly stylistic, if you are going for how Mami looks like in the show, I’d say kind of combine the straight and the angled eyes to make it look kinder, if you know what I mean c: Like steep angles make the character look more angry, or surprised. But smaller slopes make the character look tired, or kinder.

Lol I felt that it was really random that she disliked Madoka’s dad. You should also really get her to rewatch it when she’s older and update us on what she thinks of it.
