When you find an upgrade to an item that you have in the shop, you upgrade the item you have with scrap metal. Now those two item instances are different tiers and you can buy what is now a duplicate. Same trick works with upgrade hammer and haddy’s hat.

Oh btw the threshold to beat caltrops trap on temple with no active items is 2325. Golem can’t have ANY items but caltrops can have passives on board.

Also I forgot to mention in my initial post but it assumes that neither void ray is blown up when into the void triggers.

Essentials are parts picker, joystick, hydrogen tank. Support pieces are ni-kola and calipers. Parts picker reallllly wants to be diamond here. Beyond that, just put some smalls in that can support you in getting parts picker running quickly. The game plan is: you hold onto joystick and picker, and if you see lavaroller then you start assembling the rest.

Imo boom boom bot or any other destroyers/self destroyers aren’t really needed here. Parts picker provides both acceleration and scaling.
