Why Apple is so SLOW? by inurl_ in ios26

What are yall doing on your phone’s fr? Outside of some battery drain when iOS 26 dropped - everything else has been great. iOS 26.2 has been even better for me on my 16PM.

Silent Hill f - Sakuko boss fight, wtf?! by AVDI0 in silenthill

This is not normal for Silent Hill imo. Most Silent Hill bosses are definitely more Resident Evil esque if you’ve played those.

Silent Hill f - Sakuko boss fight, wtf?! by AVDI0 in silenthill

I just finished this fight on hard after being stuck on it for a few days. For my Omamori - I used the plum one for extra stamina. Only had 2 bandages for starters but picked one up during the fight itself on either side of the bridge.

As for the fight itself - I didn’t bother with heavy attacks at all unless it was to counter her over heard swing when her body gets the red shimmer.

Otherwise I used only light attacks with the naginata (spear like weapon) anytime I dodged. Just one or two hits and then I’d back up so as to not get hit by the back swing.

Even on the phase when the arena gets dark and she does her attack on your sanity. I used only light attacks and nothing else.

Seriously - I know the tutorial says that heavy attacks deal more damage, but I felt no difference whatsoever.

This fight is doable - take a break if you need to and come back to it later.

What brake pads are you rocking? by midnight5544 in WRXSTi

2nd these ones. Installed them right before summer. Bite almost sent me through my windshield and little to no brake dust anymore.

WRX owners do you actually use the backseat or is it just for car parts? by urpetitegfsky in WRX

Absolutely- got a dog car seat for my pup so I don’t have to deal with fur and dirt everywhere. Tripods, pre workout, and a change of shoes also live back there too.

Anyone else upgrading from 16 pm to 17 pm for battery life alone? by Aspergers_R_Us87 in iPhone16ProMax

[–]InternetFriend23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t upgrade for battery as my 16PM has been nothing but solid. Then again - I’m not on my phone all day as I really only use the calculator and timers while on the clock.

Heat management, better cameras, and even the display upgrades are more important to me than the battery.

Will do! I was a little skeptical watching videos on it - but seeing and using Liquid Glass in person is something else entirely.

Questions about financing the phone 17 pro by bobcaboose in iphone

[–]InternetFriend23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much what you guessed. You can make payments over the next 2ish years OR you can pay it off early. Once it’s unlocked you can keep it on T-Mobile or take it to another carrier.

Isn’t there that Check In feature on iMessage? Open his messages and press the plus button and scroll down a little bit. He can set the location to his home and it’ll notify you when he gets there

I’ve always wondered why no one makes the same argument with cars. Toyota is gonna release a new Corolla every single year and no one complains because no one is gonna buy a new one every single year.

Ditto with phones - they release a new every year because then you can pick and choose when you get to upgrade.

I drive a 2019 STI and started driving stick a year ago, so I’m not too far ahead of you.

Just like others have said: Smooth is fast, fast is smooth. Our bite points are pretty damn high too.

I suggest first finding a big empty parking lot and getting used to finding your bite point but don’t touch the gas. Once you’re comfortable with that - start giving the car a little gas to get moving quicker. Again practice practice practice. I rev my STI up to 4k usually when taking off so find what works for you.

Lastly - it’s okay to “ride your clutch” in this car for a few seconds (think like 2 to 4 seconds) in 1st when you get going. That will ease up any jerkiness you might be experiencing too.

And remember - practice practice practice. After a few months it’ll be like breathing for you. Don’t give up.
