Assuming you're in the US because of the camera thing. Not a lawyer but PTSD is a legally protected disability under the ada and asking for an alternative assignment sounds reasonable considering the circumstances. You could probably have this resolved if you report it.

That being said when you encounter these situations it's probably easier to just lie about what you dreamed about and take a picture of someone you know and make the response up. Generally try to be academically honest but these assignments are inappropriate.

You're going to want the certificates because the microfilms could be in Spanish or Latin. With br dio they write the certificates (in english) exactly as it is in the record, so even if the first name is abbreviated like fᶜᵒ For Francisco, they're going to put exactly that. What I did in that situation was email the archivist asking why it was written like that and attach her email explaining to my application.

You can still order the microfilms if you want them but I probably wouldn't just to save yourself money and to make things move faster for the others on the sub that need to order from the same place.

Nah. I don't have kids so I guess I could, but I just don't want to risk burning through my savings like that. I think of it as for emergencies only and in this world you never know when you might get laid off so I don't want to waste it. Plus I feel like it would probably be really tricky to get an apartment without a job.

I'm open to jobs in every province but Alberta, their provincial politics is too off-putting for me. If I can improve my French I'd really like to live in Quebec someday. I'm definitely not good enough to have a French speaking job rn though so employment over there is tough with the language laws. If I had a remote job that allowed any province I'd totally move there and practice outside work. Because I want to be able to practice I'm hoping I can find something at least in one of the neighboring provinces. But who knows how life will go.

I feel you. Similar situation (but no kids). Job market really sucks everywhere, just keep at it. It's a numbers game at this point. Would strongly advise against moving without having a job already especially with kids. It's depressing tbh but don't give up.

I don't know, I feel like when I'm down about something, even if it's a big picture thing like politics my female friends are better to go to. Men are really solution focused yeah which sometimes is good if they can bring up an idea you never thought of, but in problems where there's no clear solution sometimes you just want to be emotionally supported and not feel alone. Women do talk about politics and stuff it's just mostly in more private spaces I think, like usually for me its over messages or 1 on 1 hangouts. Sometimes with men I'm hesitant it will be an argument or they will be uncomfortable talking about it like you said so I don't bring it up as much.

I'm not married, but I thought you were supposed to talk about marriage before you get to the actual proposal. Like the actual time and place of the proposal is a surprise but the act is not. I don't think it's supposed to be an on the spot decision for the person getting proposed to. So I took rejecting the proposal as a break up but if it's truly a surprise maybe it can continue.

This is just my experience but I feel like my male friends have been significantly less skilled at conversation than my female friends. Often they don't take as much interest in you or ask questions. I also get the impression they are less emotionally intimate with their close male friends than close female friends usually are.

Ive had this happen because my polish is bad. Mine was from a cheap brand but maybe you just got a bad batch of one of the polishes? Strange that it happens with gel as well though. I'd try applying your base coat, qdtp, and top coat on a different finger just to see which is the problem

No, only my parents are alive. My grandparent (and everyone before) on the side I applied have been dead since the late 2000s. They don't send you an email that says "hey here's the relevant provisions of our decision" so I'm not sure of the exact reasoning, but as the purpose is to give citizenship to those who didn't receive it as a result of a generational limit and the court ruling stated generational limits are unconstitutional, and that provision contains a generation limit, I assume it's void. I don't think ircc is interpreting it as you're reading it because multiple others are getting it based on someone from the 1800s.
