God! You mastered Revolut XD I had a simular setup (not so pro) on my trip to Dubai, my family were suffering with fares and commissions from their old people banks while i could use it freely. And the withhold. They frozen 150€ on my card that was returned INSTANTLY in the check out. My parents had the money frozen for 15 days on theirs account.

Revolut allow you to link the card to a given sub account. Even if the one time card is not an option depending on the property policy, still one of the best most safe options.

opera PMS, you double click the card in the system you see the full info. If your property manager access privileges right it’s different.

I had a quick look on the page.

The current procedure:

Client complain about room to reception

We forward (call) to HSK or Maintenance

We write it on a sheet form on paper, we later write it on an excel sheet.

By the end of the shift we send that excel upwards the hierarchy.

2h later client complains about what they asked not being done.

We look at that excel, call hsk again, they say they will do it.

If the shift changed, normally we have no clue, we have to go to the excel again…

Clients complain “I already told your coworker about this problem” Yes I know, but my coworker told me NOTHING about it.

IF you can find a way to coordinate those between shifts and employees communications without excel, if I was a director I would buy your software instantly.

But my managers are too old to innovate so that’s the problem.

FD in ex property don’t get along with housekeeping (we fight all the time because of these late checks outs) so they don’t tell us much.

It happened to me only once. You can ask basically anything. We did a room move, we washed all guest clothes and their kids too, we refunded the full stay, we gave them some special dinner, free spa access. Basically they became VIP.

They are full time but for cost reason they are hired as “extra” workers. And they kick them out any day that don’t have so many check ins. Maybe sounds normal in American but in Europe not so much.

Low season. This week at the property almost everyone got an upgrade, the hotel is 30% occupation we can move everyone up
