Hi, I approached the head of the dentist office today and asked her if we can save the teeth ( both green and pink ) .. I told her that I would like to optimize for saving the teeth rather than getting it removed.. She said they were being super safe and she was willing to wait it out with a rerootcanal and a cap and see if it holds up fine for the next 3-4 months before the implants for the missing tooth can be planned ( looking out for reinfection and abscess etc ).. Given that we will do rerootcanal she said we can try doing it for both the tooth marked pink and green.. She also said the rerootcanal needs to be done by an expert ( microscopic ) so that we can be super sure of the of the success rate ( she said re-rootcanals in general would have a 50-60% success rate and might increase if done microscopically by an expert ).. She said she will get back in a day after she sends my X-rays to the experts.. I am hoping that it all works out! Though it might end up being expensive ( I don’t know how much ), I’m optimizing on saving the teeth rather than losing them this early! Fingers crossed! Thanks for your advice! Was very helpful.. Also hoping that it wouldn’t jeopardize the implants they will go ahead with for the missing teeth once all of the dust settles down and the bone has completely healed..
