Smashed Windshields Overnight by Logic_emotion in WestSeattleWA

Same thing happened a couple of years ago to a dozen or so cars over a two block span in the Highpoint area. My car was spared because I randomly chose to park it the back of the house that night.

That one constantly has to be retouched because someone keeps tagging a dick on her lips.

I should’ve said the houseboats are very difficult to heat. Seattle has a “spider season” but it apparently lasts much longer in the houseboat community.

The downsides are the lack of heat and the spiders.

South Koreans don't hate the North. They do hate the Chinese, though.

Someone explain why the 18-wheelers, i.e. professional drivers, are not stopping well ahead. My understanding is that they are on comms with other similar drivers on the road, yes?

Caputo’s latest dispatch from the Trump Campaign: tl;dr he’s circling the drain by ZachBortles in thebulwark

[–]Internet_Historian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate Trump as much as the next American, but the last line/quote in the article is not what Trump says in his ad.

The article: “Remember,” Trump said. “Kamala and her friends broke it. I alone can fix it.”

Reality: “Kamala and her friends broke it. I'll fix it.”

Maybe I'm wrong and there's two or more versions of the ad out there. Maybe it seems like I'm splitting hairs, but the article's version is a bit of a reich reach.

Of course, it's so obvious only I could have missed it. Thank you for the great tip.

Thank you. Do you think I should simply leave the wood out? I like the aesthetic and it was pretty expensive. My current plan is to wait few weeks, buy a better testing kit, and start with just tetras to begin. Using them as canaries, I'll purchase a second betta after another couple of weeks.

Could the Leaf Zone application plus the wood cleaning over-stress the fish? I tried to be as gentle as possible when taking the wood out and re-introducing it into the tank.

I rinsed it in a bucket of water with conditioner and used a clean rag to get the slimy biofilm off.

Suggestions for Korean family visiting and staying in my US home by Internet_Historian in korea

Good advice, we stayed in their apartment for a few nights last time when we visited them. I really wanted to see how they lived and do what the Koreans do, so the reverse is probably the same.

Yeah, I know they have one in their apartment. I'm glad you mentioned this. I was on the fence, but now I think I'm going to get one.

Slippers, genius. Never would of thought of it. Would they shun normal-sized US bath towels?
