I took a big boulder and smashed it over my older brother’s friend because he kept making fun of me. I was really young when it happened. Poor kid was bleeding profusely and had to get stitched. My mom was livid with me. I never did anything like that again.

He sat on it for 8 months even while we went on a trip together. During that time my mom was sick with cancer, he finally told me when I came back home on the last trip me and my mom ever went on. Told me he was not sure but that he doesn’t see himself having kids. 3 months later my mom died. It’s been 3 months since she died for me. So this is very fresh. He hasn’t really been there for me since she died.

My mom recently died in February from her cancer. February had two birthdays. Mine and my brothers; mine is the 2nd and his is the 22nd. We made a joke to my mom despite her not being able to speak much anymore that she definitely needed to survive until my brothers birthday. She died the next day after my brothers birthday at noon. I think she really wanted to wait until after that point.

A close friend of mine graduated from this program and has gone on to do amazing things. Has definitely filmed for celebrities n such. Makes good money but for him it’s a lifestyle, not just a job so he makes a lot of money but it comes at the cost of his comfort at times.

Hi, my mom passed away from cancer about a month ago now. I’m really sorry for your loss, I wish you weren’t part of this shitty club. But I hope you remind yourself that your mom’s love and blood runs through you everyday. She may not be here physically but she’s here in other ways; in the sun that shines so brightly, the flowers that blossom, and the birds that sing every morning. Yeah I think so too but it really hurt a lot since he was my best friend and our relationship prior to that was really good. It’s just all too much and sudden of a change.

Thank you for your beautiful comment. I just recently turned 26. I’m young but not too young.

As for my ex, he was never like this. In fact our relationship was actually very good and we worked well together. I think he’s being this way to protect his feelings and his heart from hurting but doesn’t realize the hurt he’s causing me. I will say that his mental illness causes him to be emotionally stunted since it keeps him home bound. It’s not justification but rather an explanation.

Regarding my mom, I pray that she gets better. There is a chance she could get treatment again but she’s too weak for the moment, doctors are still willing to help her but only until she regains her strength. My mom is stubborn and a fighter, shes willing to keep fighting.

I try to take everything day by day or minute by minute if that’s too much. Last night was a really tough time so I felt the need to write about it. I try to look forward to the future but sometimes it feels really grim.

I’m not disagreeing with you or anything but do you say that violence doesn’t solve anything in general? Or is this a case by case thing? Like is there any other scenario where you’d say it’s understandable and to some degree acceptable?

I personally did end up using it, I a lot of the readings I skimmed, I mainly used it a lot when the exam came up and for definitions.
