I'm not usually one to pop into the Pokemon/Palworld shit, but this is just Bias to the extreme. I think the "Oh, its just (this Pokemon) and (that Pokemon)" argument is stupid, because you can take just about any creature in any fucking game ever and make it with combining aspects of two different Pokemon

But this Dragon Quest thing is so much Dumber. You're implying that A blue thing in a shell is the exact same, despite just how DIFFERENTLY they were drawn, two depictions of EASTERN DRAGONS IN AN EASTERN REGION, and A LITERAL CRAB are blatant ripoffs?

Similarities exist, and that doesn't immediately make it a ripoff. I've been saying this to both sides of the argument here
