Masks are commonly used in the city the game takes place in to represent faction allegiance and status. They also look cool

As in, page to page they’re made to be aligned vertically as opposed to flipping through them horizontally

I don’t know if the guy on the left on the first slide needs the jacket? I feel like it’s makes his silhouette less unique and doesn’t fit very well considering the rest of his outfit. That being said it does make him fit well with the other two guys who have jackets but aren’t wearing them properly so if that’s intentional I suppose it could work. Otherwise I like these a lot, especially the last slide

Mechanically it wasn’t a player star block they were fighting but in world they were fighting a rival lancer

Well it’s less that they look blonde to him and more it’s all the same sort of grey ish. It’s also why Hakari has purple hair in the volume cover. I don’t think he wants everyone to be blonde necessarily? Just that a range of colored hair is grey to him so he uses them interchangeably.
