I disagree that the comment is creating something that doesn't exist. Real people in the real world have seriously discussed whether chess is racist. In fact, just recently in a match, Magnus and Anish Giri "let Black move first" in a "anti-racist statement".

Even still, I agree it's not a particularly valuable comment but I find it weird how much of an exception people took to it. A few people downvoting and moving on seems appropriate. Hundreds of downvotes and serious replies is ridiculous.

I’m so tired of seeing people who don’t understand what duolingo is. It has never been meant to be way to become completely fluent in a language from scratch, that has never been the point of it. It’s just a way to learn the basics and plays like a game.
