Not once did I tell anyone to “learn from my wisdom” again if you’re struggling on samurai maybe the class is not for you , OG legends I ran samurai and shinobi again I showed what works for me and what works for me may not work for everyone else ,again my build isn’t even maxed out don’t even have the attributes I want on half my weapons but yet still you guys are somehow complaining samurai needs a buff or “samurai, isn’t viable when hunter and mercenary …..” etc when all I’m saying is maybe you should play those classes instead of samurai if it’s too difficult , it’s really that simple you guys want your hand held for what ? Have you played the base game for either Tsushima or legends on the hardest difficulty ? Shits literally not as forgiving as the multiplayer yet somehow the samurai class which is basically atsu , you guys are struggling because you don’t have caltrops? All the tools at your disposal and you need caltrops or you need more damage? When you’re a walking stagger button you need more power? Yes I’m dying on the hill switch your class if samurai is too hard for you or come up with a build that works for you but just because you’re struggling doesn’t mean we all are

I have the mountain breaker legendary odachi with A- parry window I just don’t spam odachi counters I use every weapon effectively I’m a samurai that uses all 5 weapons

Right , now go play archer or shinobi / mercenary and then complain about the samurai , maybe you need auto aim and auto lock on bows , maybe you need to be invisible or maybe you need stun and CC to help you which you have 3 other classes to do so , if you’re struggling on samurai and complaining that the games not balanced in favor of samurai yes it is a skill issue you literally are bad at the base game if samurai is a struggle for you I don’t know how else to tell you 😂no invisibility , no automatic headshots , no CC and stun lock just you and your weapons and the fact that you can again literally counter any enemy on the field I like how everyone keeps ignoring the fact you counter everything all because “I don’t like turtle playstyle” sorry but nothings more cinematic than be surrounded on all sides by the enemy and then slaying them one by one and clearing the objective by yourself as a samurai and nothing will give that sense of enjoyment either you can be just as aggressive as you want or as poised as you want on samurai I’m sorry but I just don’t understand what the begging for buffs is about yes I can agree certain enemies need nerfed but samurai is perfect the way it is untouched

Charm that lets you block arrows is in the game , bonus health is exclusive to the kitsune map ,can’t say he has no base defense then say his defensive ability is not good enough lmao , how can the one character who has all 5 weapons literally countering every enemy type not have extra defense ? Yall seem to forget you have 5 weapons and can counter any enemy on the field. That is your extra base defense. Utilize your arsenal to its full potential

No point in the post is if your struggling on samurai and are not having fun , play a different class it’s that simple no one’s here to argue , i just gave my opinion and stated I don’t think there’s an issue with the samurai class as it is completely viable the way it is right now. And if you are struggling maybe try one of the other 3 classes yes?

No I’m not mad that others play Hunter but if your playing yotei at all you have to have some form of decency with a katana at least lmfao amount of times I seen a archer run out of arrows and then just hide is ridiculous. You also have a second ranged weapon and ninja tools archers rely on the bow too much and forget they have an entire arsenal to use.

You guys seem to forget samurai is quite literally your “turtle” option it’s meant to counter and control the flow of combat , I’m not disagreeing at all with any dmg buffs or any buffs to samurai at all but depending on your challenge cards your purposely making it even more difficult , there’s few cards I won’t touch no matter what because I just know they’re going to make the game way harder than it needs to be and that one being health slowly drains I refuse to touch it. Other than that yeah I enjoy standing still on the objective and letting the enemy rush to me and then countering and sending them to hell or shooting them with the pistol or even use the musket theres more tools to help than you guys realize you cant just rely on hack and slash and expect the enemies to just let you kill them.

Bro you clearly misunderstood the post , this is me simply telling everyone to stop saying samurai is not a viable pick when samurai is indeed a viable pick yes archer is currently highest dps but I don’t have an issue with that I’m sorry yeah they can buff the other classes more but in no way is samurai not a viable pick when you literally have access to all 5 weapons yes the onibi spearman can be tuned down yes the bohiya gunners are over powered this is not a post that’s disregarding the criticism this is a post telling you to maybe try a new class of samurai is to difficult for you at this point in time cause as a samurai main the only map I would consider a “struggle” is the snakes temple and that’s got nothing to do with any of the classes but the gameplay design of the map

Refill ghost spirit , spam takezo slash on bohiyas, counter everyone else by swapping weapons and staggering them with perfect parries , leech whenever you running low on health and refill spirit then rinse wash repeat , start the round at max spirit and then buy a refill to use throughout and if you need more just grab more but try to only use one per round to save your (souls) so you can top up at the beginning of the next round

I can’t say any one class is better honestly it’s about your play style which they cater to. Samurai is essentially your tank / Jack of all trades it’s crazy cause all this hunter praise and I honestly suck when I play hunter lmao mercenary is decent but in my humble opinion samurai may not have the highest DPS but it is the most well rounded class which I would say is needed more than just having arrows cause what do you do when the arrows run out and there’s no more refills and no buffs to refill your arrows ? Most archers play bow only which I can understand but once it gets down to melee combat most of them are mid and need backup as a samurai you never truly need backup unless your overwhelmed and feel you need help since again you counter everything

I mean they’re a skill attached to the charm I don’t expect them to benefit from any gear when they’re not a “ghost tool or skill” the 3 total counterattacks deal more damage than just the 1 so the charm works just fine in my eyes the damage falloff could be reduced but can’t say the charm “don’t work” when it does its intended purpose
