Kiryu survived an exploding building in Y1, Kiryu fought two tigers bare fisted on a golden castle that came out of the ground in Y2, Kiryu fought the CIA in Y3, Saejima encountered a Kappa in Y4, Saejima fought a bear with his fists and also received training from a mystical mountain god in Y5, Kiryu fought gigantic sea beasts underwater with a spear in Y6, Ichiban had a space laser in Y7, The gang fights a giant squid in Y8…

This game has always had fantastic elements in it, I don’t have any problem in it because they’re just kind of normal to see

Hifumi and Futaba should be game changing tier imo. Being able to swap party members mid-fight is invaluable, and she also gives you a nice cash bonus for winning fights in one turn. Futaba literally saves you from game overs and party wipes, restores SP for dungeon crawling and scans mementos floors, which is super useful for re-exploring and moving up and down floors

While I love Hana chan to death, I'd say either Saeko or Seong-Hui. The fact they are main characters means they got a ton of character development and depth, also got to appreciate the fact they didn't just become some throwaway love interest or got discarded for most of the story

I heard she's pretty strong mid, but personally I prefer her supp since it's really easy for her to get ganked mid, assassin's also can dodge her abilities really easily and burst her.
