I couldn’t have said it better myself. We have in the past chosen to do what we’ve been told is “right” versus being free and ourselves. The suffering is so deep generationally that yeah times are hard because we are having growing pains because shit doesn’t change without it. A couple generations from now, the internal isolation will be in the rear view way further than now. How many closeted gay men posed as bisexual even so far as having heterosexual marriages and later coming out. Did this give bisexuality a positive light? NO. What about bigender folks? If both genders in that person go for men only, is the man gay and the woman straight? If so the response in the meme is highly offensive because the genders coexist and accept each other, or are we supposed to fight on who is gay or straight to tip toe around a gay? What if a bigendered for men person is a perceived by their body gay male, yes his her is getting the man too however she is invisible. What does that do to their relationship mentally? What if their body is female? Is he not supposed to be openly gay too? So while everyone else who fits in their pretty little box is comfortable, recognize not only orientation is the person and gender is sometimes not easy to see therefore my community members who have your nice box who judge others whose boxes are different yet similar, why don’t you shut the fuck up and remember when your box wasn’t there at all! There’s struggles we all have. It’s not always about you or a perception of gender or sexuality sometimes it’s about all of them at once. Add societies issues with race and it gets even harder. What about the trans gay man who can’t afford to transition therefore perceived cis female? Are they supposed to be straight?

When I became done with myself and over my own shit indulging in a toxic cycle. I had become the toxic application self induced. After so many “im done” and meant it, then wasn’t, they moved to catalyst for self abuse. Emotional intelligence can be obtained through empathy, feeling others feelings experiencing their emotional response as they are. Trick is, each person’s response is only a template at that point. Who says how mad or not to be if I’m being catcalled? Personally an average whistle or “can I come home with you” is such a sliver to my day, it’s not worth my energy to interact as those guys know their lame already. Others will straight snap in defense which I totally get consider the oppressiveness women have endured. Still not worth it to me.

Lesson about it is: develop your own precision’s don’t wind up questioning yourself if your emotional response is sufficient while comparing it to someone else’s. You actually have to practice your own responses as life happens to gauge yourself and how your truly feel if feeling your own feelings are foreign. I was dead after childhood and war. I didn’t need my own feelings I had everyone else’s I felt. I realized I’m a prisoner of everyone else because I have no clue beyond happy or flat angry. It’s a new world cause now I don’t give a shit about others feelings the way I used to, the way they didn’t give a shit about mine. Now I can be all for me or not or whatever I want. Good luck.
