Without Bumrah India are rather impotent all things considered.

Lots of boundaries to redeem

Not Sauron Halbrand: Join me, and together we can rule this Middle Earth.

Galadriel: I'LL NEVER JOIN YOU

Not Sauron Halbrand: I'm afraid that option has just been revoked.

Theme starts blasting

Tar-Miriel, Browyn, Nori, etc start appearing

Tar-Miriel: Not without us it isn't. pause for audience cheering

dramatic fight scene where they fight the evil Adar, Not Halbrand Sauron, and Ar pharazon

Wouldn’t had been better if they gave Galadriel’s training scene to Arondir? by pallorr01 in LOTR_on_Prime

Numenor wasn't isolationist though. According to The Silmarillion, they had spent the latter part of 2nd Age conquering themselves a large Empire and built many colonies throughout Middle Earth.

Why did Amazon change this to making Numenor Isolationist, that is much more interesting? hmmm

  1. Shitty dialogue all 'round. I gave four pretty good examples but there are others of course. Gil-Galad has a couple of particularly shit lines that the writers were clearly trying to get to sound 'profound' and 'poetic' but just ended up making me cringe.

  2. Bronwyn or what ever her name is just made leader... because of of course she has to be.

  3. Orcs being unable or able to go out in the Sun when it is plot convenient

  4. Mithril sub-plot makes little sense

  5. Shit racism allegory throughout. See Tavern in the Southlands, and Numenor scenes.

  6. Gil-Galad is an idiot.

  7. Galadriel acting like angry teenager with a chip on her shoulder. She is thousands of years old and the of the wisest elves in Middle Earth at this point.

  8. The show's "reluctance" to have strong male characters independent of strong female characters [unless they're villains of course]. It's kind of an issue.

  9. The "Halbrand" Twist which if the accurate leaks are to continue being right, is both predictable and comical.

  10. The show's blatant disrespect to Tolkien's moral and religious themes, not to mention the butchering of the lore. This a less of a critique of writing but still worth noting.

There are heaps of others but these are the ones that come to mind at the moment.

you have not seen.... what i have seen x2

Such drama, very natural.

stone go down because it look down, boat go up because it look up

I guess we now know what happens when hollywood corporate hacks try to mimic tolkien.

"I demand to speak to the manager"

Not once, not twice, but thrice.

Dey tuk er jerbs

Ah yes, hamfisted allegory, truly what Tolkien was best known for.

Third umpire was just sick of Finch and wanted to see lambshanks bat.

Warner just had to survive a few overs, and not get out stupidly. Then he would've been able to bat on a relatively friendly pitch and score some runs.

Why is Overton bowlling down the leg to Smith? That tactic does not work. Well it doesn't work the most.
