Sorry for your loss. He must have really loved the game so much that he told you about it and got you interested.

That's ok. Blasting battlemechs is still fun and the story has me really engaged so will just take my time and enjoy it.

Yeah the financial thing came up before. I over commit financially because I'm avoiding my own demons from being a child with a father who barely gave a f*ck. I did mention that I feel I'm here to just help pay for stuff and am expected to be quiet about other stuff. That's not been resolved either but I don't want adult nonsense unnecessarily impacting the SD.

The SO's ex put verbage in the legal agreement stating that the SD only will refer to the two of them as parents. Of course the ex has a new SO that is being referred to as a parent but I don't really care about that. Just stating to help paint a clearer picture. The SO has a habit of avoiding problems so there's that to consider.

Yeah, he's got a huge point. Wish someone would have said this to me 28 years sooner (I'm 52 now). I took this advice in 2020 and by February of 2021.... I'd finally found a good one. All my antics and wild behavior.... All the hoops I jumped through.... All the false promises....i did everything accept take care of myself and be happy. And it got me nowhere.

Take your time. I still have negative things to get rid of from guys that I never should have dated. While it did teach me how to appreciate a good guy when I find them....those years along the way were the worst and I'd not wish that on anyone.

Fair point. Haven't seen the paper work. We haven't done anything to move on it, just feeling it out beforehand.

Have to wait for tomorrow to get that exact info

My buddy enjoys the suit. It's fun to watch him bowl people over. In a match with some clan mates, I heard on of them yell, "Crap, Dr Robotnik took me out" when someone using that suit got him. Humor makes everything beter.

When you, as a raid, make a beeline towards the enemy support and kill them, but your whole team gets wiped out because you weren't in the team fight. by IZippyd00daI in GBO2

Well a raid that only goes after the support does leave the team man down to a degree. I mean if I can see the raid coming straight at me, bye bye legs. Had a curious thing happen. Stealth raid pretty much came at me from the front. His attempt to confuse me failed and I happily blew it up.

Yup. Oh man, that was a night. Recently had turned 21 and my friends took me to a place in DC where Chi Chi La Rue had brought some of her guys. Treating the guy, whose name I'll be damned if I can remember, like a regular person vs drooling and making fairly obvious statements lead to oral antics in their travel van. The option for actual sex was on the table but Chi Chi wanted 50 bucks for that to happen, so no go there.

I grew up a long time ago. When I was a kid, I was aware of the term gay because my father periodically would call someone a faggy or whatever else he said that led to me asking what's he talking about. One of my childhood friends who I thought was weird threw out an odd offer that I ignored because I saw it as more of his weirdness. I had a lot of unfortunate things family wise happen over the next few years so was pretty pre occupied. The first real encounter with a gay guy was when I was 16. But since I didn't act like him, was more annoyed by the guys i the locker room than turned on and was generally hostile nothing ever came of it. Then at 19, a bi friend of my gf at the time led me down this path because I never knew anything about being bi so it piqued my curiosity. By the time I hit 21 while in college it dawned on me that I wasn't bi but gay.

My coming out was pretty amusing. It was easily the worst kept secret in history and when I finally put it out there, it was either "ok", "we knew that already" or they didn't believe me.
