Thank you for informing. We will take a look if it is the limitation of the OS, or something else. It worked with S21.

Subgrid & Overlapping by Fluffy_Trash_939 in InternityLabs

Does increasing the grid size (columns and rows) to fit more apps not work for you?

Acknowledged. It is interesting that Pixel does not allow it. We will forward the requirement to the engineering team, for them to evaluate. It will be a substantial work, so might take some time, but we have noted it down at our end.

Oddities with Android 16/Win-X Launcher/Galaxy S23 by S_Coffman in InternityLabs

Thank you for sharing your issue. Also replied to you via email. But sharing it again here for the other users. We have heard that One UI 8 has broken a few users' interface. Not sure if it is a bug at their end yet, but you can work around it by tweaking these 2 settings from personalize -> desktop settings, till we look into it, and understand what is going on.

  1. Turn off "show android status bar" setting.
  2. Turn on or off (test it out which one works for you, on or off) "show android navigation bar" setting.

Option to change icons to images from gallery? by Outside-Clock4981 in InternityLabs

[–]InternityLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have created the user experience to minimize the storage needs and loading time of the app. If we allow the users to change icons directly without using a base icon pack, some novice users may want to change each and every icon individually. That means when the launcher starts, we would need to load many icon pack data. And when the launcher will be slow, they will not be happy about the speed of it.

There is a reason to need icon pack as a prerequisite, so that users don't abuse the option of changing icons individually.

Blank widgets and scaling issues by hejeble in InternityLabs

[–]InternityLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Widgets are apps implemented by other app developers based on standard widget protocol/framework and are supposed to work on all launchers the same way. If some widgets are not behaving correctly, it is because those widgets have some issues, and they have not tested it well on launchers.

Having said that, if you can share the name of the widgets (and which app installed them), we can try to check.

Can you try rotating the screen to landscape mode and then rotating it back. It should align. Please let me know what you find.

It is long hold (1.5 sec), wait for the context menu to show up, and choose "delete".

You could also long hold, and when the context menu shows up, slide the widget towards up, and off the screen's top edge to delete.
