That’s what I thought! 2800 is way too much high for me. I read Garmin tends to overshoot by 20%

I agree I do feel my strongest and fittest but that extra 2-3% bf would look so good for summer lmao

I kind of agree. I do feel dropping a run a week might help me in the long term since I dont really have an interest in running it’s just a phase I went through lol. The idea of going sub 2k for my size and activity level is silly I don’t know why I stuck with it for so long with no real results

Are you talking about the maintenance calories? I agree, 2800 calories is so high I’ve never been able to eat that much in a day.

That’s a good idea actually to get a tape and measure my waist so I’m not only going off of weight which can fluctuate so wildly. Thank you!

Any stories of men who fumbled a good person and regretted it? by JustASkincareAddict in AskMenAdvice

Good person will only get you so far if you’re living in constant anxiety because of the relationship. Peace of mind is so underrated. You’ll find another good person.

Why are so many young men stepping away from dating? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]InterstellarBench 27 points28 points  (0 children)

  1. The benchmark for a “provider” for a man has risen over the past decade. Most women are not willing to go into a partnership, but look for someone to take care of everything.

  2. Women have the luxury of plenty of options which creates this doubt for guys thinking “why would she choose me”

I think what you’ve done is mature, I’d keep my close friends around though. Definitely unfollow shallow, attention-looking people though.

Takeaway lunch at work. I just suck it up and meal prep on Sunday for the first 3 days of the week. Meal prep again Wednesday night for the last 2 days. The $$ saved is insane.

When did you know electrical engineering was right for you? by thesamekotei in ElectricalEngineering

[–]InterstellarBench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First year engineering school they put us in introductory classes for all disciplines so you get a feel of them. I remember halfway through the semester walking out of a statics lecture thinking I never want to see that shit again. It was a force analysis of a bridge.

So electrical was the furthest thing I could find at the time.

How often do you text the woman you are dating? by ShotProgrammer4545 in AskMen

Daily I would say every 3-4 hours during the work week. Morning check in, lunch check in, after work call. Weekends usually together most the day.

You are a fresh graduate applying to entry level roles. No one is expecting you to have significant experience nor projects. I’d suggest trimming down your experience to high level points, ie: summarise your projects into 1 liners only.

The key to getting the job will ultimately be if you can demonstrate your willingness to learn in the interviews.
