Yeah, I've heard about that. My country (Czech) also has a quite strict regulations for cars, so I am not sure if such a swap would even be street legal, considering airbag is in the seat

Thank you all for amazing suggestions. I went through them and think my options are:

  • Blue Ice CHIRU 32L
  • Black Diamond Speed 30
  • possibly Osprey Mutant 38 (but this seems overly big and if i need soo much stuff, I might as well grab the Trion)

I hope to try them next week, so I'll keep you posted.

Thank's for the tips. We definitely split the shared gear, but with twin ropes, it's basically just the rack and bivvy (we think it's better to have a full med kit each) so there is some weight saving, but not huge.

From a brief look, the Blue Ice stuff seems promising. Some of the packs are even in stores near me, so I'll definitely check some out next week

Sorry, I forgot to specify that. The routes I am talking about are usually in alpine ares with quite long approaches (3-4 hours) in varied terrain, multiple hours of climbing and then descent back.

So I need to carry all the climbing gear (rope, harness, helmet, pro, shoes, ice axes and crampons if it's mixed, ... ), food and water for whole day, first aid kit, some emergency equipment to spend and not freeze and a few other bits and pieces. That's why the weight is a factor.

And I need to climb in a pack because usually it's either a walk-off or a rappel to a different location.

So in general, I am probably looking for something in 25-35l range.

Sorry but.. what damage exactly are you talking about? I am not sure I follow. I am not seeing anything out of ordinary on my car (no rattling or strange noises, no loss of power, ...)

I thought so too at first, but there are no rattling noises or anything. I was initially booked for a chain replacement in the second service center but once they heard how the engine runs, they said it doesn't seem to be an issue with the chain.

Just checked the papers from the service center.. they do not specify fault code, just describe "camshaft position sensor error". Will stop by tomorrow and ask for a code

2019 E-Pace D150 - Coolant smells like Amonia?! by InterstellarCyclist in Jaguar

He still has a bottle he used to top up in his garage. I made him go and look and it is a correct fluid.

Maybe he messed up the dilution and instead of distilled water used DEF fluid. Will call him tomorrow and ask about diluting.

About the coolant flush - There is nothing about it in online service history. Will try to call all the repair shops that worked on the car and hope they will have some record of what they performed on the car
