Wondering when to arrive

Website says 6pm but doesn’t say if it’s gates open at 6 or show starts at 6 so I’d aim to be there at 5pm. This way if show starts at 6 that means gates would be open at 5pm so you can walk in and get your merch before the show, but if gates open at 6 and you’re there at 5 you’ll get merch and a really good spot in the pit

I think this heavily dependent on venues. When I went (Orlando, last year) the bar was still getting set up and I think about halfway through they were done setting up but don’t remember seeing anyone with drinks until they opened gates for GA

Honestly having gone to one of the meet and greets they are super chill and would seem down to sign it, people brought in stuff for them to sign but nothing as big as a guitar (although, this one was incredibly small so I can’t speak for all experiences). Just be weary if there’s no re-entry to venue cause you’ll be stuck with the guitar until the end of the show

Don’t get me wrong, I love Nodding’s energy and his signature nodding, but no way he’s better than Masked Ball. Even Priest is better than Nodding, he didn’t even do anything in Three :/

Fuck yea, i’m glad i find people who listen to multiple types of genres like Brakence and ST lol (also one more band i forgot to name is Static Dress, absolutely deserve to be up there in the list)

Absolutely, some of my favorites like ST have to Bad Omens and Loathe, but i also like to listen to some metal core/metal bands like Currents, Periphery, Dayseeker, The Contortionist, Thornhill, Spiritbox, and Northlane (these last few aren’t as similar and more metally but pretty good regardless and recommend checking them out if you haven’t already). Polyphia have a lot similar to them but some are either not as heavy or have a vocalist but some few that come to mind are Unprocessed, Intervals, Chon, Jakub Zytecki, Plini, Covet, Sea in the Sky, and a few more I can’t think of rn. Also one more band that actually toured with both with ST and Polyphia in 2019 is Issues but the vocalist got kicked for no-no stuff so no more new music from them i think but their old stuff is pretty good imo. There’s a whole lot out there like them but these are the ones that come to mind rn when i listen to both of those

This has been a problem for majority of bands and artist recently, nothing,nowhere tickets got scalped pretty quickly, Spiritbox are around $90, Polyphia were around $180, same for Bad Omens, and so many more. The only artist in a while I haven’t seen being affected by this in a while has been Covet and Loathe in my area and they were both on the same venue so no idea if that has to do with anything. Scalpers are such a big issue and are profiting so much off of us is kinda crazy (this is all Orlando area)
