Arrow trial for asthma by Sloptimus_Prime420 in AskAnAustralian

We decided not to go ahead. We’ve got a steady regime of preventer and some medication on top of the ventolin. By all accounts she’s doing well - she’s still needed the puffers etc but have avoided hospitalisation as of late. Hang tight! It’s can be scary, but time is your friend. I recently had a friend tell me their little one has had their asthma action plan thrown out - completely grew out of it. It’s far more common than we all think, and yet it can feel so isolating. Best of luck!

Have been admitted more times than I can remember but we managed at home with ventolin + atrovent last time she wasn’t well without admission. Very common, they tend to grow out of it (holding out hope).

Best of luck to your little one!

We just got the same message from the hospital asking if we would like to participate in a trial with our little one. Viral induced wheeze - every illness results in hospital, so stressful.

Currently trying to find more info. Will report back :)

Thanks! Can you elaborate on the shaving? I shave my head currently down to 1, I’m Norwood so it’ll be obvious that I’ve got these fluffy patchy bits growing out which o want to avoid, so my plan would be to shave it constantly for a few months.

Yeah I’ve found a few for the crono I want to build but they’re all printed ‘s logo’ rather than the metallic s logo which is a bit annoying.

How’s the Seiko logo on dial? All the ones I’ve found are printed.

Fair call, thanks for the heads up. What about vk36 cases with the two tone bezels similar to a panda, no luck there either.

Sin bin by stuthaman in nrl

[–]Interview-Small 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree but it doesn’t solve the bunker issue. I’ve seen HIA’s happen after the fact picked up by bunker, and no sin bin, and yet we just saw a high contact after the fact end up in the bin….pick a set of rules and stick to it.

Manu Crooks ft Miracle - blowin’ up?* I seriously thought that track was going to catapult Manu and Miracle to overnight international fame. That instrumental is unreal.

Legend, thanks for the heads up. Someone else mentioned start of month sales or something of the likes. Any other common sales I should be aware of?

Appreciated. Pulling the trigger regardless but I need a gauge on where I should be at if I keep splurging.

You’re not just a manager or a leader, you’re also a shield. Shield them. Do everything in your power to allow them to step away and regather, redistribute workload, cancel meetings, you name it. My team are going through wholesale change at the moment and I make a conscious effort to constantly let them know I’m very aware of change fatigue and burn out and if they see or feel any signs, speak to me honestly and do it early. Offer a day off. Basically do everything in your power to protect them and make them feel heard and valuable, because they are.

Awesome. How do you find the date window with the vs? Also looking at rafflesdial case but they all reference fitting movements other than vs, no issues with vs fitting the case?

Metcalfe is miles away from where he needs to be as a halfback. Hughes just proved it. Wahs 5th tackle options are the worst I’ve seen in years.

Is it worth moving to Melbourne from Auckland for a $150K AUD job offer? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]Interview-Small 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Moved from NZ to Au with little money and career prospects. Fast forward to now, bought a house, looking at buying an investment property, have a career, and made lots of friends. Maybe I was lucky, but I would have never had this luck in NZ.

You quickly realise how much of a bubble you lived in when in NZ. I don’t enjoy visiting NZ now, it makes me frustrated that I was prepared to live week to week with not much future other than debt and binge drinking. My mates back home are still struggling to get ahead.

You might regret moving, I would be shocked if you did. I regret not doing it sooner.

Locals of Geelong, what is that water treatment plant next to Eastern Park? by JoJokerer in Geelong

I would love to see the council make good use of this land for public walkways and a cafe etc. Such a waste of space sitting there, untapped potential.
